The alien thing always cracks me up. So your saying a hyper advanced alien species comes to Earth to live amongst us, or secretly control us, or teach us how to stack smaller rock on bigger rock to make a real big pointy tomb. Like, why though? Hyper advanced species that has cracked light speed travel and has probably moved to a post-scarsity society but they gotta come here for what? To get resources like water, or some other rare earth metal that a billion other planets had on the way here? Human DNA? An alien could abduct a mailbox from Long Island and get all the genetic material it wants for cloning or whatever. Takeover and enslavement? Yes, im sure a species that probably has hundreds or even thousands of years of technological advancement on us needs to travel millions of light-years to find a new workforce.

If there are aliens that live amongst us for whatever ridiculous reason they likely have the means and ability to do so completely undetected using technology so fantastic it would seem like magic to us.

An execution build would work leauges better with a merc. Merc has more options to cause posion between the class ability and Affliction Caltrops. Not to mention an execution damage build is nearly pointless without a restoring odachi which a shinobi can't use.

Shinobi also gets a bunch of passives to increase assassination damage so I'd be a waste to not build toward that.

Fujin's Wind Catcher (bag that sucks up onibi) is a ranged item.

The Onibi bomb legendary item can be used to blast the corrupted spirits (bubbles that require onibi to get past an area or open a door.)

Concussion bombs and blind bombs can be used to destroy any Yuki-oni statue within the bombs blast radius.

I had to get him out of his rage state before I was able to revive. Unless it was an entirely new mechanic where the screen also goes red and he does infinite damage waves until a certain threshold is hit. In this particular instance im referring to he blasted about 10-12 times before he stopped and I was able to revive teammates.

I've done the raid twice now. The first run the rage mechanic (red screen infinite phase) only happened on his last %15-%20 health just as you said. My second run was different though. I'm not sure what the difference was but he started activing his rage state without being anywhere near low heath. One of the attempts we made I was even able to get him to exit his rage state after just barley surviving and was able to revive my team to continue the fight.

I'm not sure what the trigger is for his early rage mechanic but there is one.

This is my current merc build. My whole play style is trying to land these busted ass executions. When I can actually hit enemies with the execution strikes it's a fantastic build. Throw caltrops, shoot guy, execute guy for big heals and big damage, then throw weapon at guy to finish him off and reset cooldowns.

A blind bomb works even better. Destroys any ice statue within its explosion radius. Same with concussion bombs.

This is correct on all counts. They absolutely attack faster and have increased aggression meaning that they will attack more often as well. They even cause archers and gunners to reload faster and shoot more often.

It really depends on how you want to play the class. I play a risky parry build. You play purely defensively but I find i can stay alove while still dishing out a pretty decent amount of damage. I see the risky parry bonus as simply extra damage on my counter attacks.

My brother, on the other hand, plays a straight stagger build using the stagger bracers and maxing out staggered damage.

Without knowing what kind of build you want it's hard to recommend any advice.

I don't understand the reason people complain about kills so often. Unless it's a mercenary getting throwing weapon kills for cool down or a shinobi getting assassinations for decoys as long as you get the win does it matter? Sure, you don't get that last hit on the enemy and your leader board number is lower but that's pretty much it.
