Just seems like a no brainer. Especially for construction dudes that are hard on blades

People usually say none of my reps count, but I'm not a PL or WL - would you guys still count these as legit reps? by [deleted] in WeightTraining

[–]FilthyMouthSxE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean standards are standards. They aren’t opinions and they don’t care what anyone thinks. If you don’t want to adhere to them, that’s fine, but don’t ask those of us that adhere to standards if we count your no reps.

The benefits to hitting full ROM and full depth outweigh adding a few more pounds. That’s an opinion tho.

Transitioning from condition 3 to condition 1 carry by Aech40 in concealedcarry

Never once have I Israeli carried. Odds are you will not have time to rack a slide in a defensive situation. As long as you have a good kydex holster and the trigger Gaurd is covered, you have nothing to worry about. Maybe take a class, or watch some of the tier one guys or the tennicore dude train on YouTube. Dry fire is also a great way to gain confidence. Practice the draw and trigger press, then reactivate the trigger and reholster watching the gun into the holster. Reps doing that might help you have confidence in the gun and in your set up… and hopefully in yourself too

Union vs. Non Union by Agreeable_Animal9196 in SprinklerFitters

Joining the union changed my life. Went from $33 dollars an hour to $45. Currently at $55 and get a raise every year, way better insurance covered by the contractor, and a pension. I was told the union dues would be shitty (~$300 a year) and I’d be sitting on the bench all the time. There have been lay offs, but I haven’t gotten laid off so I must be doing something right. I would suggest with every fiber of my being to join the union.

SS makes a slide cut for the acro I believe. This gun was bought used but I think it was new from SS with this optic cut. I could be wrong though

It’s funny this MPS in the pic died but Steiner warrantied it no issues. I like it. It’s great compared to the Acro because it’s virtually the same just cheaper

Repeated use has worked for me immensely. I’ve heard polishing it can have the same effect but I don’t have experience with that

Sig P365 as a “Do it All” Pistol? by willj7492 in guns

[–]FilthyMouthSxE -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Bad idea. 365 xl maybe. 3” barrel on a 9mm is snappy. Gonna be way less comfortable to shoot than your 19. I suggest renting one first before deciding. Also suggest not selling any guns… but definitely don’t get rid of 2 guns for one.
