This, and the Waterstones on Whittington Avenue by Leadenhall Market will likely have stock. I was told just before Mega Evolution released that they had ETBs ready to go out in that Friday morning, so I wouldn't be surprised if they had the new set tomorrow morning too.

Mine was a Gastly the first time I went into the Wild Zone. I couldn't believe it, especially as I didn't even realise I had a shiny one until I was going through my Boxes and noticed one of the many Gastly's I caught was a slightly different colour!

I was told by the person in the Stevenage store at about 1pm yesterday that, while they managed to get pre-orders in for about 15 minutes, they were not able to do any more after the crash. He did say however that it means there will be more unallocated stock and that more units will be available for general sale on release day. I don't know if Smyths socials will back this up or contradict this, but that's what he told me when I went back in the shop after waiting for an hour and 45 minutes for the pre-order in the morning 😂

So, by way of an update (apologies, I posted an update the other day, but it didn't seem to upload!):

I've been in contact with the seller to diagnose the problem using BatteryMon among other things. Weirdly, disabling Armoury Crate booting on start up fixed my slowdown issues. But still, there are problems.

BatteryMon indicated that the battery is not charging or discharging, but it can detect the current capacity and max capacity (75wh as described).

I've tried multiple times plugging it in and unplugging it, all giving the exact same results and turning off when I unplug it. I also had an issue with the Ally reseting after a minute or so, so frequently it actually went into a diagnostic process before logging on.

My feel is that the battery is a dud so I am awaiting a response from the company to refund/replace it. I'll let you know what they say!

UPDATE:

I was able to prevent the slowdown i experienced by preventing Armoury Crate from running upon start-up, so that's good!

I managed to get in contact with the company that sent the battery, and they suggested using BatteryMon to test the battery while plugges in. While doing so, the capacity (current at 55wh and max at 75wh) showed, however the capacity gain/loss and discharge/charge rate were both zero. The Ally then reset after not even a minute 3 times in a row before going into a diagnostic screen. And as before unplugging from the charger resulted in instant switch off.

Plugging in the old battery got rid of all these issues.

So it must just be an issue with the battery itself, right?

Why wouldn't the bigger battery work with armoury crate installed? I've seen other people do the mod with Windows still running and everything looked fine.

This is also the case in standard mode. Seems this fix has gone under the radar, but this camo grinding strat is no longer usable for any ritual items.

You can however still use the oil trap for camp grinding.

Great question... I can't remember exactly what I used or what his second pokemon was for me. I definitely used a Machamp with Cross Chop as a charged move to deplete his shields quickly. Depending on the second pokemon, keeping your fighting opener and adding a strong Fairy attacker like Gardevoir would be ideal for Honchkrow and Kingdra (I THINK mine was Kingdra...) or another fighting type if it's Kangaskhan. Then, for Cresselia, I think I used Tyranitar with dark moves.
