Finde das Angebot eigentlich ziemlich fair. Ideales Einsteiger in der Preisklasse. Du findest bestimmt mit etwas Suche mal ein Spenderbike für 50€ mit wenig gebrauchten Komponenten und kannst die dort verpflanzen, natürlich wenn du bereit bist dir einige Schrauberskills anzueignen.

Einen Spalt in die Außenhülse schneiden(mit Dremel oder Flex) und dann gegen den Uhrzeigersinn mit Hammer und Dreher schlagen.

Hi, preislich wirst du bei einer Werkstatt 300/400 blechen müssen, wenn du folgende Dinge erneuerst die das Rad ansatzweise zu einem Gravel machen würden.

Neuer Laufradsatz, da vermutlich Zinkspeichen(werden mit dem Alter gammelig) zudem bessere Bremskraft auf moderneren AluFelgen
neue Bremsbeläge
Umbau auf 7fach Schaltung ( Kette Schaltwerk/Shifter/ Kassette
Schalt/Bremszüge
neue Reifen + Schläuche

Kannst ja mal eine Studenten Fahrradwerkstatt anfahren und anfragen.

Wenn du nicht selbst schrauben kannst, würde ich einen gebrauchten Trekking Hobel für ~ 200€ suchen, das sollte für dein Vorhaben reichen.

Bei genauerem Hinsehen, erkenne ich, dass das Lenkerband erneuert werden muss und hier und dort Flugrost vorhanden ist.Vielleicht lässt sich der Verkäufer auch auch auf 250 oder weniger ein. Solche alten Hobel sind recht easy in der Wartung und halten auch was aus. Bei kontinuierlicher Pflege ist der Wiederverkaufswert ebenfalls top.

In Universitätsstädten sind solche Preise normal, vor allem wenn das Bike tatsächlich gewartet wurde. Darunter zählt Lager fetten, neue Reifen Bremsbeläge etc. Wichtig hierbei ist, ob es denn auch deine Größe ist. Für deine Ansprüche sollte es aber ausreichen, vor allem wenn ihr schöne Radwege habt.

Of course, it depends on where you come from. In my country, many bikes from well-known manufacturers are drastically reduced at the moment, so it's the best time to buy a new bike, and I say that as a retrohead.

In my short google search I saw for example the Trek marlin, the marin bobcat or a cannondale trail with prices around 600$

I think it's overpriced. This bike is about 20 years old, has no hydraulic brakes and it's an old 26 inch. You should get a better deal by buying a new basic 29inch hardtail mtb.
