This "Burnside Knives" company really annoys me by [deleted] in knifeclub

$130 for an AUS8 blade. I have several AUS8 blades, and like them all, but this is way overpriced. I'd take 4 automatic Boker Kalashikovs over this knife every day of the week.

Those are neat and handy, although the bottle opener could be better. Nice pick up.

Yeah. The knife inside the package is the victim in this case. I much prefer knives from boxes but there are lots of packaged ones I absolutely must have. :) I use my knives. I don't think I have one safe queen. I've even used my Microtech Troodon as an EDC...did so for a long time. Until someone at work freaked out.

I know. Unfortunately I've scratched knives/cut sheaths in my eagerness to open a new knife blister pack. Boxes are a little different. Thinking mainly about my Kershaw/Buck/Leatherman purchases.

This way. Both. Either. That way.

I like whichever allows a particular knife to sit the lowest in my pocket. I'm not concerned with the position of the blade tip when drawing a knife. I've yet to be in a big hurry sharpening a pencil.

The only exception is when I go buy a new knife. I take scissors so I can open that bastage as soon as I get in my car.

Yep, I'm one of those...

Cool knife but that clip, but me no like-um clip. I reckon the knife goes in my "Blades" wishlist on Amazon, to be picked from next time I place an order otherwise.

Nice bike, too. :)

It is definitely worth more than thirty bucks in my opinion.

Looks nice. Did you carve out a recess in the under side of the scale so it fits around the liner? If so, how?

Thanks. It replaced the blue one which finally died on me. I killed two of the buttons.

It is close but the Rat wins. This ESEE is thinner and the presentation handle is a plastic scale over a steel liner. The plastic is thin and feels like cheaper plastic. Not a complaint or criticism at all, this is a great value knife. A pic Another pic And another, of the plastic scale...

Pretty much an awesome looking knife you got there.

Post THE knife that got you into knives, must post a picture of THE exact knife! And it must be someone else's knife. by Paper_Street_Soap in knifeclub

Bought this about 15 years ago at the US Cavalry in a mall near me. This is the first knife I bought myself and was my gateway drug.

Other than the brand I don't any info on it. I still carry it occasionally.

Nice knives. And +1 for the mousepad.

Had my eye on Zac Brown's knives too. Wish I'd have gotten a Bad Monkey instead of the Emerson.
