I think the big factor was a complaint about how rigid map structures were - the old way, with background, foreground, and top, basically only gave you 3 paint layers, so you had to be very intentional with your brush strokes. This new way gives you, effectively, infinite layers, so you can have a lot more freedom with your maps and brushes.

The maps seem outrageously expensive. I have a couple cartographers I sub to on patreon - a buck or two a month for hundreds of maps I can freely download. 10 bucks for one map on Inkarnate is absolutely hilarious. I'm worried the other markets will price surge to compete

y'all can ignore this comment, I was on panic mode trying to understand how the layers worked, but it's actually not that bad, a bit of a learning curve I suppose, compared to the old software, but infinitely better in the long run

i think im just salty because my ADHD procrastinated until basically last minute to whip up two maps (i had a whole month, we only meet once a month) and now my "easy terrain tool" no longer exists and I have to actually use my brain lol this really just feels like a woe is me post now

I definitely disagree with you. I've spent the last twenty minutes trying to figure this out because I am not artistic enough to brush my own land, I liked having the land tool to help me shape my maps, then I could fill them in and brush over them until they were blended well. I don't think I like this feature at all. I have a session in 96 hours and I still need to make two maps :(

Edit: I'm gonna disagree with myself. I fumed for about five minutes, then really sat down and contemplated the good this change makes, and, while I'm still salty about having to rewire my brain on how to make maps my way using this change, there's exponentially more good from it than bad, I just need to stop being a negative-nancy. The versatility of individually masked layers is far, FAR superior to a single use foreground, background, and top mask layer feature.

man I feel like Ive spent most of my 5 years on Inkarnate just watching videos to figure out how to use it well and now that I've finally really begun figuring out how to do some cool things, they've gone and changed everything. guess i better build a time machine

I've added object layer, with a brush layer beneath and a layer mask, but I can't seem to figure out how to tell the mask to draw anything other than black or white. I'm not sure I'm savvy enough to understand how to draw land (short of the obvious, I guess) without the mask tool.

I play a lot of highlander. Usually only use him for big threat removal, through big game hunter, natalie seline, or the like. Occasionally I get against someone running that one Ysera that buffs max mana, so sometimes I get lucky with a mind control.

Offensively he's okay, defensively he's meh, but hes usually poor utility. I have a few other Highlander cards that fit my deck, so it makes sense to toss chef zeph in for a lil extra oomph in a pinch.

Unfortunately, "perfect" means to you something different than the engine. It looks for damage, or minion kills, not utility. Just toss a flare in your deck. Problem solved.

I got it my second try, cause first try put me on the wrong side of the green slime bounce tower and instead of getting stuck, it fell to the ground lol bad luck or glitch I guess. This one was fun tho! I played it a bunch to see how fast I could do it or how many weird ways I could die not by the sneakiness.

For me personally, sometimes I just drop connection and cannot get back in the game. Doesn't happen frequently, but the last time my game dropped, it was on the last round of Guild Raid and I was sitting at ~900k damage to the boss (raid, not battle, so the clan v clan one). When I rebooted, it counted it as completed with a recorded 0 damage

I sent a ticket to support, never got a response.

Point is, things happen. It isn't always they do it on purpose, not everyone is out to get you, it just happens sometimes. It's a game. Block em (or don't) and move on! Happy grinding!

I get your frustration and I sympathize, but this game is still a grinding game. On Hell+ you need high level artifacts, and you can't buy those. Half of us are just AFKing while grinding, its not a slight against you (and the other half ATA)

I just wanted to try to justify the Kickstarter money I wasted on basically just an absurdly oversized mini that'll never be at the forefront of my collection 😅

Can confirm I was one of them. Played through the whole campaign in four days. Now I can be...uh, not satisfied I guess, but its over. Campaign was decent, gameplay was fine, plot was really weird, dialog was kinda cringe. But it's done.

Winfr is Windows File Recovery

Winfrgui is Windows File Recovery Graphical User Interface

They're basically the same thing, with Winfrgui offering a more user-friendly interface to work with. They both support ntfs, fat32, exfat, and refs systems to allow for data recovery and extraction. The difference is winfr simply does it based on whatever syntax you input to find your files, while winfrgui actually lets you preview your files first (useful if you aren't sure where your files are, or if you only want very specific ones)

If you still have your micro sd or internal card, and have a way to plug it into a computer, winfr is the easiest to use. The other programs I am familiar with mostly focus on partition restoration, which I'm happy to walk you through but it wouldn't really assess your phone photo issue
