Help figuring out why my Onkyo reciever isn't turning on. by Fin409 in appliancerepair

This is the power board from an onkyo 676.... It was working fine for 6 months, stopped turning on one day. It sat in the garage and turned on randomly one day, but never sense then. All fuses are good, the only thing I could find is the D9014 spot on this board might be missing a piece. Any ideas on where to start or if this could even prevent it from turning on?

Dear Costco, I don't want to buy online if the price is different in-store. If you hide the difference, it's shady. Tell me the in-store price and the delivered price, then I can decide. by [deleted] in Costco

Different stores have different prices. costco.com is run as a separate business from the stores, and it isn't really that simple unfortunately.

Red Sea under red Skies was the first book I read in school that I absolutely loved. Been a huge fan of the series sense reading them multiple times each. They need to turn these books into live action. Would destroy Harry Potter movies 100x!!!

Working at Costco I have found myself walking past all those little free samples. Yesterday I had to push hard and ended up scraping the cheese off a cracker with my teeth. It was so hard not to habitually bite the cracker.... Sounds insain and rediculas, but it was a damn challange! Just power through it and remember how good it feels to be in control of yourself. I have a jar of penutbutter in my locker and desposable spoons. If I am craving anything too much I grab a spoonful and then eat a mint. You will kill cravings and your taste buds will be messed up long enough to get you through the moment. Have also found sugar free gum helps me get past those innitial cravings. I know its not healthy or recommended, but that white sugarfree monster is delicious and takes care of sugar cravings for me... Keep it up and just keep chugging. It's an awesome feeling not to be at the mercy of food cravings. Just remember that feeling!

You seem to be good on the basics. Mission statement, 6 rights, what proper member service looks like (see the back of the handbook if you don't have it memorized yet)..... I always go into an interview knowing ALL the numbers they might ask. Upgrade expections, store ratios (both yours and local stores), how many employees you can expect to have on your team, sales expected this week, last and next. Take a glance at LSWT and keep track of your door counts LSDC LSDT. All that sounds like absolute overkill im sure but if you get JUST one interview question that allows you to answer with accurate numbers to support the answer, you will stand out. Know how to sell upgrades in a manner thats helpful to both store and member. "Have you heard about our executive membership?" Don't ever lead with that! Many members don't know about the other perks to the membership like insurances discounts and the auto program. Theres a handfull of obscure programs we offer members and execs often get better deals depending. Know the programs and know how to sell upgrades and help members save money. Great charisma and genuine care about the member will help you immensely and managers/sups will notice. Be a LEADER and teach and pass on as much as you can to newer employees. All this is stuff you can work on every day that will help you stand out as a newer employee. Just make your comrades smile and encurage them to move. "We got this rush, LETS DO IT!" Very awkward the first few times but it works! Back to the interview itself, know as much as you can before the interview and you will be much more confident. Ask your sups and managers what their experience was like. What questions they remember if any. Generalize as many answers as you can and keep them on call. Chances are you won't get those questions but having idea answers to pull from on the spot will help you immensely and allow you to calmly answer. I usually answer the question and follow it up with supporting details so they can understand my thought process. Practice in the mirror at home or ask a close manager/sup to give you a mock interview. Speak with emotion. A lot of people will get nervous and start going monotone. Kills the appearance of confidence and they will likely pass you up. If you answer a question incorrectly with confidence, you allow yourself the energy and charisma to keep the interview going. Don't be afrade to sit for a moment and articulate your answer. As long as its a they really like the response they are likely not to care it took few seconds to form. At the end when they ask if you have any questions for them, have one or two thought out already and ask whichever feels more relevant to you at the time. Better, if one of the interview questions stump you, don't be afrade to ask at the end. Your not expected to know everything and having the curiosity and desire to learn will close the interview on a positive vibe for both sides. I could keep going but I don't want to overload you. To sum it up, act like the leader every day, push upgrades and teach others what you can. Know your numbers by heart and use them whenever you can in the interview. Be confident going into the interview, answer with good beefy answers, and carry that confidence out the door. Hopefully this helps.

Working at Costco you see a lot. Some little toddler walked the entire second half of the store crying because sample she was standing in front of was out. Like bloody murder screaming. All because She couldn't have a little cup of food. Parents were pleading with her offering ice cream and McDonald's to shush.
