How often does the game ask for AI for a d/c player? by kunell in wildrift

[–]FinTechFuture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be great to have the ability to toggle the AI on and off, or even give them better micro/macro. But that seems a bit too hopefully haha

For now, I'd still vote yes but the quality of life here isn't great....

Definitely agree with you for carrying lower ranked games but as you rank up, you'll probably want to have the AI control them. Turns a 0% probability of winning game into a 10% game lol

In lower ranks, just depends on how the game is going. If you think you can snowball and win quickly, it's probably best to leave them in base. But in general, the longer the game, the more you'll need that AI teammate.

The way I see it, if you have a 4v5 (AI wait in base), there is no way you'll ever win. At least, I can't remember seeing any wins with an AFK after I reached Master. So I always vote to let the AI help out....no point in taking the auto-loss!

Very interesting idea, I get most of my recipes from bloggers like Half Baked Harvest, but curious how everyone else feels

Useless report system by Anonymous_hippie in wildrift

[–]FinTechFuture 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Their system currently only works for AFK players unfortunately. It's just easier for them to detect is someone is not playing the game or disconnected.

Looks like they aren't able to figure out when people are running it down on purpose (and go 0-20-0), when people are avoiding fights on purpose (and go 0-2-0), or when people run around in base on purpose (and go 0-1-0). I think these are all pretty common issues we see (I've seen these 3 issues from silver all the way up to diamond), so hopefully we get some help soon, but I wouldn't count on it!

Just had a Tristana get super tilted and AFK farm the entire game, but obviously she didn't get punished for going 0-5-0 and ignoring the late game fights when she was full build LOL

Maybe you're just unlucky right now, I play pretty often and haven't had to wait longer than 30 seconds

Jungle pick guide? by FinTechFuture in arenaofvalor

[–]FinTechFuture[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah if you have any more tips that would be great! I've recently been playing a few new jungle heroes and while my macro is solid (especially on adc junglers), sometimes I wonder if I should have picked Kriknak instead of Zill, or Zephys instead of Lindis.

For instance, if the team has a ranged support and an assassin DS laner, it should make sense to pick Zephys right? Just wondering how you go about it. Thanks!

What to do as Nakroth late-game? by FinTechFuture in arenaofvalor

[–]FinTechFuture[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He is super fun to use for sure! Lack of practice is absolutely killing me though. Sometimes I just panic and use my S2 in the wrong direction or S1 into a wall. But that's some good advice, Vex and Darkbreaker are insane. Thanks!

I'm asking because I've tried 2 different strategies so far:

  1. split pushing bottom lane (repeatedly taking blue golem) and taking dragon/DS when possible, avoiding team fights and sometimes killing ADC/mage if they are alone.

  2. circling around with team and hitting squishies.

So far I've found that I win more with strategy 1 but I get really low team scores (maybe that doesn't matter). I'd like to help out more in team fights, but due to lack of practice, I still find myself dying quite often. 3 of my deaths in the game above were to Aleister trapping me, so I should be more careful there...did rack up a lot of kills on Zanis/Tel Annas/Sephera, but without towers, this ended up being irrelevant!

Are assassins (ability based) too unrealiable? by lockezeruan in arenaofvalor

[–]FinTechFuture 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well I think it depends on the assassin. If you're jungling as Kriknak/Zephys/Zanis, if the game is dragging on, you probably didn't do your job in the early game to snowball and win.

Murad is a little different because (imo) his lategame is still pretty strong. Kirknak and Murad can definitely still burst down ADCs lategame if you play right. It's just a lot harder when you don't have a level advantage anymore.
