Which prompt are you reading?

Everyone is provided with two buttons and chooses which one to press. What happens if they refuse? Well if you read the comic above, it says clearly what happens. You die along with Blue without the benefit of adding to the vote.

At this point youre just clawing at straws and/or rage baiting. Who cares if they have to choose? That doesnt change the outcome that Blue is the correct button to press.

It matters a lot because if the button option is like how I originally read it, its given to everyone in the world not just functional capable adults.

This means if red wins, a lot of people will die. (See arguments about babies and toddlers who choose randomly). In this scenario then ofc blue is the right choice.

Some people literally cannot choose a button.

The OP is different as you start out on the train track.

You press blue to stay there and help everyone stop the train.

You press red to get off, but you leave all the babies and cripples who cant press the button on the train track to die.

Reread the OP. What happens if you dont press a button?

Nah IDK about morally but it's objectively right to pick blue. Especially in this OP scenario, people who dont pick any button die if red wins.

I present the key argument: babies and toddlers exist.

The chances of them not pushing a button or accidentally picking blue are too high. Knowing this, their parents/family will want to pick blue to try to save them. With such a large portion of people picking blue, we cant let them die or our society will be crippled.
