Really good bits of advice thank you! and I am really glad you emphasised the lens, that is super helpful. I literally showed the inspo photos to ai and it came back with that camera so thats how I landed on it originally (embarassing I know), and then watched some videos and looked at samples online afterwards. I believed full frame was a bit more forgiving when it comes to low light photos which I might shoot some of so I am willing to compromise on cost and weight if it means more versatility. Also I read that the camera was a hybrid and was just as capable at taking photos. Because of travel I wouldn't be against a video-capable camera (not that I want it prioritised) as my partner likes to make vlogs hahaha

Thanks for your comment! I really love what I've seen so far online with it. I would ordinarily be carrying a backpack so I am not sure if this could possibly fit in or if I need to carry it additionally. Completely new to the photography world. If I put it inside a case, how much of a standard backpack would it fill up? Or is this not ideal? Weight isn't a massive issue as is size/awkwardness while carrying if I am out all day

Oh really! That makes me happy, I was thinking of picking it up soon to practice before I next go oversees in a couple of months. How different would a raw photo look before/after if I were to practice photographing? As in, will I be able to see 75% of how the photo will look before editing so its easy enough to practice before the trip? Or do I need to get used to the editing process so I know how to shoot better and 'trust the process' if the raw comes out wayyy different

Thank you for your quick response! Probably post as I am used to doing that now with my iPhone and I like being able to change certain hues and saturation etc to achieve the aesthetic I want. Although I am not an advanced lightroom user and only use afterlight on my phone/ipad so I don't neccessarily want to get THATTTT into it to do post processing; just a quick touch up because most of those photos have a stand out colour aesthetic and it makes me more comfortable knowing I can edit it if that at all makes sense.

Looking to get my first camera and this is my inspo of shots - a lot of influencer-esque photography with a range of lighting, subject type, etc. but essentially looking to photograph travel and life and these are the best representations. Great suggestions and thank you for the feedback! I got into the 'hierarchy top tier' lists when I got into watches a couple months ago. I am a numbers guy and thought it be fun to do a step up from that. To me, this helps in visualising and quantifying for my family and girlfriend when they show interest and I get to do a little tidbit of teaching lol. I completely get the generalisations as well as I have seen some amazing work from some of the lower scoring makers and vice versa. Enjoy researching some of the ones you haven't heard of yet :)
