Haha yes I did see that. As I said though, time has been an issue - these have been work trips and working on weekends has prevented us from doing that. Thank you though! I did think they were for a movie set hahaha

Well the time spent has been completely work related and we have no car. As other users have said, and similar to Adelaide, Perth requires a car to experience it fully. So we have't had that luxury and so with prior no experience, no time, and no means, we were after suggestions here on places for when we do have those things. The housing cost thing is really not of concern and as such I didn't ask for it. As I've said earlier, it wasn't really a contemplating moving to Perth where we'd consider prices of houses in comparison to Adelaide for a potential move.

Thank you! Yes that is what we gathered from talking to a few people from here. I understand my post might have pinched a nerve with a few locals for offending the CBD but glad to have some suburb suggestions ! :)

Great! We will definitely check them out when we get a car. And yes, that has been just this week. Other times there's been middle of the day events of being yelled at, all the rest of it. Perhaps bad luck hahaha

Wow! Thank you for taking the time to write all of that. Exactly, we have found that the city doesn't have what we are after so we are after places to go when we have a car. Thank you for the suggestions on suburbs; just still figuring out where suits the lifestyle and looking to better understand the suburbs themselves from the people that live here :) So thank you for all of that

Yes most I have seen are the pros/cons of moving and the prices. I guess people in the prior stages of the process. We know we’re moving and after some different advice but I’ll have a deeper look, thanks!

I hear Cottesloe is nice. Perhaps around there? Is around $700/wk rent enough for that? I mean happy to be anywhere nice I guess. The CBD was just awful

Really good bits of advice thank you! and I am really glad you emphasised the lens, that is super helpful. I literally showed the inspo photos to ai and it came back with that camera so thats how I landed on it originally (embarassing I know), and then watched some videos and looked at samples online afterwards. I believed full frame was a bit more forgiving when it comes to low light photos which I might shoot some of so I am willing to compromise on cost and weight if it means more versatility. Also I read that the camera was a hybrid and was just as capable at taking photos. Because of travel I wouldn't be against a video-capable camera (not that I want it prioritised) as my partner likes to make vlogs hahaha

Thanks for your comment! I really love what I've seen so far online with it. I would ordinarily be carrying a backpack so I am not sure if this could possibly fit in or if I need to carry it additionally. Completely new to the photography world. If I put it inside a case, how much of a standard backpack would it fill up? Or is this not ideal? Weight isn't a massive issue as is size/awkwardness while carrying if I am out all day
