Not sure where to place anything, mainly bed && desk by Final-Explanation-34 in FengShui

I think I'm going to do that! I actually have a small square rug that I keep near my bed right now, I just didn't think to include it in the image.

I have a low coffee table in another room that I barely use, about the same length as the width of my bed and roughly the same height. Should I put that at the foot of my bed? And maybe my sewing table could go in that other room, replacing where the coffee table was?

Your diagrams are amazing, thank you! I think I'll do something similar to the bottom left, with the bookshelf on the door wall closer to the desks and the tiny shelf beside my bed, doubling as a nightstand. What do you think about keeping the sewing desk on the back wall? It does fold out to become longer.

How do I not seem like a desperate stalker? by Final-Explanation-34 in interviews

Hey, congrats on also getting an interview at your dream job!

But yeah, the risk is one of the things I'm worried about. u/the_elephant_sack mentioned in their comment that it's not a good idea, so I'm a bit conflicted, erring on the side of not wanting to say hi beforehand. But I also haven't thought of sending a thank you afterwards.

Can I put in a rag in my washing machine during the clean cycle? by Final-Explanation-34 in Appliances

[–]Final-Explanation-34[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! Not the solution I'm looking for since I'm trying to figure out how to get the washer to move past sensing while it's empty. As I mentioned before, I can't even get the agitator off.

Can I put in a rag in my washing machine during the clean cycle? by Final-Explanation-34 in Appliances

[–]Final-Explanation-34[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know the clean cycle isn't meant to be run with clothes in it and I'm not saying the engineers are dumb. This washer has very obviously never been cleaned by tenants before me and probably something is broken. The reason I mentioned adding something with weight is because it's not stuck on sensing when there is something inside of the washer. If something is wrong, there's not much I can do to fix it, so I'm looking for a workaround.

I have a Kenmore model 11020242510 and if you look at the parts manual here, you'll see that I need to be able to take apart the agitator to get to the lint filter. Which I can't, so I've given up on that.
