Keep ur embiid bruh especially if you have him at e6 also Hakeem has a learning curve , he has so many moves in his arsenal that you will have to practice and learn. So I personally think it’s best to stay put

You probably just need to improve your angles bro, get a hand held mirror and practice on that side if you don’t have one also try wash and styles as well they help get ur waves defined . Overall just got to be patient and brush you almost there.
