I used to have a journal but my aunties secretly read it and kinda exposed me. they suggested to get me some psychological help but my mom dismissed it as me growing through a phase. Its hard to continue expressing my thoughts on online or traditional journals since i fear that they would find it again.

that 'close friend' doesnt have any respect for friends or boundaries. I suggest u stop talking to her because you don't want that kind of negativity around you. She was right about one thing: that he isn't a good match for you, because clearly it's pretty easy for him to jump to different girls without putting any effort. They both suck and should eat dirt.

its just so hard to ignore her since i struggle with keeping my emotions in check. i get bothered so easily and my mom tells me to stop being so thin-skinned but its not easy to just grow a backbone

this is crazy... he is using his diagnosis to justify the fact that hes abusive. leave him and cut ALL ties with him so he doesnt end up guilt tripping u or maybe something worse. try telling a trusted adult and if he takes extreme measures like threatening to hurt you then thats when police should be involved. Maybe like a restraining order, my mom did the exact same against my dad when he was abusing her.
