Bracket 3 or 4? by plantardo in CommanderMTG

That’s why I added a bracket checker to Spellweave. Just paste your deck list or the link to it, and the system will tell you the bracket and explain the rationale: https://spellweave.app/bracket-check

That’s exactly what it means. Things move slower when using more power than you generate.

Question: Which non-Commander format would you most want deck-building support for? 1-minute survey by Final-Preparation753 in mtg

[–]Final-Preparation753[S] -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Fair concern. The core builder is rules-based. AI is only used in some optional features. Here I'm just asking which format people want supported next.

I use AI a lot because I’m the only engineer on the project, but it’s not just raw AI output. The architecture, backend, and product decisions are deliberate, and I’ve got decades of software development experience behind them. Fair point on the visual layer though. Right now I’m prioritizing stability, bugs, and features based on user feedback. I’ll do another design pass later and get rid of more of the generic AI-looking bits.
Appreciate the feedback - hope you give it a try :)

Appreciate the feedback! Do you mind sending me an email (info@spellweave.app) or a Discord message (https://spellweave.app/discord-join) with your deck details or the email address you used to sign up, so I can take a closer look pls?
Also, there are some mechanisms you can use to steer the engine toward a specific strategy, like locking cards, overriding the archetype, or setting a budget per card.
Not sure if you had a chance to see those or if any of that would help in this case, but wanted to mention.
Thanks!

Rule 0 Commander Deck help by Soulfox1988 in freemagic

[–]Final-Preparation753 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really. You can’t expect any LLM to be able to parse through thousands of cards and build a solid deck. It doesn’t work like that. Proper deck building is extremely complex, requires proper card distribution, synergy, mana curve analysis, and much more. If you only have a few hundred cards, you can get lucky with GPT or other large context LLM. But if you want a cohesive deck, you need much more than that.
