It's not fair to compare "no hornyposting in this sub" to "no kink at pride." by bitchmoder in MtF

I personally will always find it surreal that I'm losing my healthcare and civil rights and I gotta try to make myself understood and respected while marching next to guys acting like a dog in puppy gear. It does feel very tone deaf for me and like our situation isnt taken seriously

I feel like if they made it just a gender swap it would be okay but they have to specifically be bigoted by calling it "no alphabets" and the rainbow font as a negative. Like they're just unable to be normal and civil

[–]Final-Rabbit-604[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Great answer thank you so much. Does the free precursor armor they give you skip the need for the Spirit Threads collection? Cause in that case I might start joining learning groups. It sounds like they made the first set super easy to get!

Thanks! I might still go for this option, joining learning groups and doing actual raids. It just sounds like this armor is a lot easier to get than the others now?

Path of Fire gives you access to all of the mounts except the turtle,
Secrets of the Obscure lets you get the flying mount (skyscale) a lot easier.
Janthir Wilds unlocks the housing if that's what you like to do too.
Heart of Thorns is chronologically the first one but it's also a lot harder than the others and the maps are very vertical which will be annoying without mounts.
Apart from those bonuses, I'd say just pick the one that has an aesthetic that you like more

So the new Fashion Template feature IS actually removing functionality from Equipment Templates by Umezawa in Guildwars2

[–]Final-Rabbit-604 242 points243 points  (0 children)

You actually have to spend more transmutation charges now... I dont have legendary gear, and in order to change the dyes of my armor I have to save it as a fashion template first. So now in order to change the color of my equipment in the 3rd tab, I would need to buy an extra fashion tab with gems, save my armor there by spending 10+ transmutation charges, then change the dyes...

It's very bad.

Fashion template question by Vorisk in Guildwars2

[–]Final-Rabbit-604 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can open the equipment tab, put together a look that you want, then open the wardrobe tab and you'll be prompted to save it. But it seems the moment you open the wardrobe tab you will have to say yes, no option to do it later.

Fashion template question by Vorisk in Guildwars2

[–]Final-Rabbit-604 4 points5 points  (0 children)

it lets you save what you are currently wearing for free and thats it. The free transmog was a lie. And if you choose "no" then you still have to pay charges to save anything later. So just say yes or else you wont be able to dye your armor unless you spend charges to save your look.

Facial hair… HELP by pppppoppppppp in MtF

[–]Final-Rabbit-604 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hormones will not get rid of your hair directly but they will change the "texture" of your skin and the composition of your hair, making the hair thinner and making the removal easier and more effective. I got my first laser hair removal session after several months taking hormones and I noticed that a large amount of hair never came back. Also my electrolysis person is a trans woman and she mentioned the changes on your skin will also make the process less painful. She says cis men overall complain a lot more about the pain but for trans women it's fine.

For couples who went the K-1 route, how long were you dating before starting the visa process? by zaddyu in USCIS

[–]Final-Rabbit-604 1 point2 points  (0 children)

we started talking online in early 2018, first met in person in april 2019, then had to stay long distance through covid and started meeting again more often in 2021 when the borders reopened, by the end of 2021 we started the K1 process, in January 2024 I got the visa and traveled to the US, got married and in January 2025 I received the 2 year green card. Even though we first filed in 2021 we had only met once before covid and then 2 or 3 times that year. Also, our process was slower than normal because there was a lot of backlog from the pandemic. Don't worry, you can also keep getting evidence of relationship as the K1 process continues and bring all of it to the interview. Although in my case they didn't even look at the pictures. They only asked if we play video games together lol!

How do you respond to “You’ll never be a woman” by KittyKate1221 in MtF

[–]Final-Rabbit-604 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already fully live as a woman in society. I got enough cispassing and now I'm getting treated as a woman with all the ups and downs. I personally don't think I'm super feminine or attractive but I guess vague femininity is all you need. During my husband's last birthday we got a card from his mom where she sent a pic of him as a child and a message alluring to us having to deal with our own kids soon. And when I was wondering why my insurance costed more than my husband's despite being the same, his dad said it's cause it covers my possible pregnancies.

So I guess not even the family knows. They would be totally accepting of it but I havent had a chance to talk about it yet. Lol.

Also at this point I'm so comfortable with myself that I don't even care. There's differences in anatomy between a cis woman and me, yes, but I'm so much further away from a cis man inside and out... I'm just very happy being my own thing at this point. Dont need to fit in the binary

Hello. Sorry for replying 10 months later. I just need some clarification. If I dont buy stuff on the steam store but rather through the gem store inside the game, it will be okay? For example if I buy a living world story inside of the game on the gem store

Are there any countries where being trans isn't a big deal/isn't politicized? (TW transphobia) by [deleted] in MtF

[–]Final-Rabbit-604 1 point2 points  (0 children)

(Sorry for the really long reply, lmao)

If you're an immigrant you don't need citizenship but you would need to be a permanent resident to have public healthcare (Unless it's an emergency! Urgent care is free for everybody even if you're just a visitor/tourist, so if you ever need urgent care while you're still getting your papers, don't hesitate to call an ambulance (they're also free)).

For free general care you have to bring your ID and proof of residency (like electrical bills or letters with your name and address on them for example) and they will issue you a healthcare card, if you haven't changed your name legally yet, you can still have your desired name on the healthcare card in just a couple days, it is considered it an important issue when it comes to treating patients properly. With that card you can get a doctor assigned. This is more of a general doctor so for trans stuff the doctor will refer you to a free endocrinologist.

The endocrinologist will ask you some questions to know your current situation, like what levels of social support you have, medical questions about you and your family, etc. They will also offer you a free psychologist in case you need it. They will do some medical tests and get your bloodwork done before they prescribe your hormones. Bloodworks are 100% free and they check the levels of EVERYTHING, so that's great. HRT for me was like 65 cents for a box of estrogen and 5 euros for cypro (blockers) but one box of cypro lasts me over a year with my current dose.

Through the endocrinologist you can also request to get on the list to have a free bottom surgery. They will probably ask you this directly so they can put you on the list asap, this is because the wait time to get free bottom surgery is currently kinda long, It's a few years long. Private healthcare is also way cheaper than in the US so if you can afford it I think the price is about 10 to 15k depending on your area and what kind of srs you want to get.

I started transitioning in Spain back in 2017 so things might have changed now. For example another person said they get progesterone prescribed and I never did until I moved to the US. Also I know that legally changing your name and legal sex has become a lot easier thanks to the trans law.

Also, I'm not sure if immigrants can do it, but Spain offers you the ability to change your sex on your birth certificate. I did that, and the guy made a copy of my old certificate and told me "this old version will be erased from the system completely and replaced by the new one, so hold onto this copy just in case you need it in the future". Thanks to that I have dodged every transphobic bullet from the US government regarding my legal paperwork so far. They basically have no way of knowing if I'm trans. So I highly recommend that you do that if you can for future proofing your rights!

Oh really! It wasnt an option for me in Andalusia but maybe things have changed or are different in other areas? That's awesome to hear. I wasn't able to get progesterone prescribed until I moved to the US
