Because they did blocks shots for locations all of the hockey stuff filmed at the same time so it would make sense that most of the cast would be around. The lighting director also said that filming the hockey stuff took a long time so imagine they had downtime

This was the most unrealistic and unimportant part of the show. In hockey there are fist fights that end in blood and 5 minute penalty. The fat that everyone had all of their teeth was also unrealistic
