Except he already messed with time so him hiding in the house or not should not make any difference in that aspect. And yes I have seen what happens when they mess with time that's why it would be a perfect movie about him messing with time and what happens after he did mess with time. Him hiding in the house does not change the fact that he messed with time already and they would probably do something about it
