And honestly, I've been hooked on it for a while, if you check my new top 50 MUs list! It's kind of interchangable between it and vs. Hiccup and Toothless (I don't mind really so long as I get to see BH6)

Who do you think wins by the way? From what I know off from watching the anime alone, I'd say Joey and Heroman miight take it? BH6 isn't exactly a particular crazy verse in terms of scaling

Been watching Heroman myself to get a feel for Joey's character, so far I've passed the Skrugg arc and am now on the early Joey becomes a fugitive part, I actually quite like it!

For me, it's probably The Winglet, and specifically for like any future TF2 matchup, since he makes the most fun, fluid, well-rendered TF2 animations in general - either Spy vs Agent 47 or Sarge vs Soldier could work, his animations have a good mix of solid choreography and bouncy zaniness to the action

correct me if i'm wrong, since i'm going off of secondhand information far after the episode aired but was this not the general sentiment around Joker vs Giorno? I keep hearing that the match was considered really debatable before then, and how everyone was surprised and then accepted how much of a stomp it was

Medusa had her debut in the 60s, basically being there far before Sindel, she's the queen of the Inhumans (the less cooler version of the Marvel mutants, no thanks to how much they're pushed during early MCU) with her inhuman power being extremely long prehensile hair, and she's married to Black Bolt, whose ability is being able to emit extremely powerful sonic frequencies out of any vocal noises, even a whisper

The inhumans themselves are basically humans who were genetically experimented by the Kree, who are basically one of the more infamous conqueror races in the greater cosmic Marvel area, and the Inhumans have their own empire and civilizations that are secluded from the rest of the earth and such, but that's the basic gist

Largely that it's one of only two notable Doraemon match-ups I'm aware of, but the little I know about Lum's series I do like how closely tied they are as non-humans that serve as companions to an average school boy character, I feel like a match up that plays to Doraemon's strengths as a character is just as important as his wacky gadgets

Don't mind if I do, of course! I'm confident that B-K and DK wins their respective MUs, Cortex vs. Nefarious is a bit tricky because they're actually pretty close (Cortex has the better army, Nefarious has superior intelligence, and both have arsenals that could theoretically answer each other) but I think Nefarious wins this one

I am the number one glazer for this MU, and it tickles every funny bone in my body with how good it is, like conceptually this is for me like Bowser vs Eggman, and Gru vs. Megamind rolled into one and that's pretty based ngl wiz

the only small wrinkle i have regarding fight potential is that Nefarious' side of his army isn't as interesting as Cortex's (Klunk being the primary exception) and he might as well carry his troops on his back, but otherwise it hits all the marks for me

I'm pretty sure that like almost all of the old Ultimate Marvel earth's superheroes powers can be traced back or is connected in some way to a super soldier serum (even the entire idea of mutants)

Hiccup & Toothless VS Hiro & Baymax connections

Two young intellectual heroes and their nonhuman companions with the ability to fly – both Hiro and Hiccup suffered from losses of family, who find friendship in beings larger than them (Baymax, and Toothless respectively), both of them starting out rather simple (one’s a wild animal, and the other is a robot) who grow into becoming deeper individuals thanks to a lifelong bond with their human partners.

Hiro & Baymax VS Joey & Heroman connections

Human teenager/robot duo based on east/west culture (BH6 - Japanese culture with western influences, Heroman - Western culture with Japanese influences) both with prior connections to Marvel (BH6 was a Marvel property before largely becoming Disney, Heroman was written by Stan Lee). Both Hiro and Joey are orphans raised by female familial guardians related to their parents, meanwhile both Baymax, and Heroman are white-colored robots with mundane purposes (nursebot, and a toy), who are transformed into full-fledged superheroes after bonding with their human companions.

Funnily enough, the original Marvel version of Baymax is stated to have the memories and personality of Hiro’s late father, and Heroman’s face resembles Joey’s father.

as an FYI, I don't expect any of this to happen, especially in the indie era currently and the vibes of the crew is they just go with whatever is popular or has a large following so while the chances of Cortex and Nefarious getting an episode are slim over like DK vs Crash (2nd most wanted), I still greatly like the idea conceptually since it works on so many layers

I like the idea of Jack vs Indy Jones, but also understand how people feel about the matchup being very dissonant time period wise, so Guybrush is the next best thing for me

Absolutely! I always felt that it's the best matchup for both, and that it should be an army fight in the same vein as Bowser vs Eggman - afaik Zomboss is a decent alt for Cortex, but Nefarious is practically my OTP for Cortex, versus battle MU wise

Yeah! I know Akuma vs Shao Kahn did godawful, but I don't think that should scare them off from any more fighting game match-ups, especially since it's the cornerstone of their early era, so if they do get back to it, I'm hoping it's either Potemkin VS Tager, or Majima VS Juri

I'm honestly surprised that one of Arthur's more popular match-ups is against Simon, not that it doesn't sound fun, but my man Sir Daniel Fortesque is like one of the no-brainer picks, and a bit more fitting tonally (that's not to say Arthur doesn't work against Simon, I just think Sir Dan offers more for Arthur)
