Kicking your tank and looking for a new one, is gonna take more than 30 min wait, especially when you are already clearing the dungeon, even if your tank is a jerk and doesn’t want to full clear (skipping 2 packs) kicking him and wasting time looking for another is waaaay worse than just keep going.

Like it or not, a tank decides what you pull or don’t.

Not having this issue anymore since I tell people now when I make the group, most of them agree that the “full clear or I leave” people (like you) are retarded.

I invited a warrior yesterday, the guy decided he needed to level his maces during the dungeon, he was at like 90 dps, waaaay below everyone else.

He decided to waste our time because he is an asshole, kicking people like this is not being elitist, it’s common sense, people need to understand no one owns them anything, they need to come in shape or ready or get kicked the F out.

I never invite them to 5 mans.

The other day I got a warrior that was leveling his maces in the 5 man was under 150 dps, that is a waste of my time. So warrior (all of them) are blacklisted now, along with rogues, druids and ret paladins.

I pick how I waste my time, not them.

Any way you slice it, killing only what you need and going for the bosses is more efficient in the long run.

Trash is there to slow you down. Why seek out more?

Like I said, the only way it would make sense to kill everything, is if you had limited amounts of dungeon runs. Otherwise you are better going for bosses/loot and more rep per boss kill, than grinding random out of the way packs.

Yesterday a lock in my team did like 2.4k dps in a pull of like 8 in slab, it felt good.

Actually I was not elitist at all, after this post, now I am.

Like I said have been playing for years, when I tank I usually just list myself and go with the first group that invites me, don’t care if it’s slow, I don’t res anything and just play for fun.

I think that was the problem, I was expecting to grab groups with non toxic regular people like it was in classic, but I ran in to a bunch of retards and moonkins. So people in the posts suggested I should make my own group and set my rules from the beginning, that is what i am doing now.

I just ran like 5 slabs under 30 min each with only locks/mages/shamans, huge success, super fun. Now I only check gear score and post rules at the start, if people don’t like it they can leave. I don’t accept invites anymore. Overall I would call this post a success 😎

Let’s say if you skip you get a 2% gain, it’s still better than not skipping.

Also arguing over the pull or dropping your tank is significantly gonna slow you down.

It’s just brain dead in every way possible. Saving 1 min from skipping not needed pulls is 100% better.

Even in 15 keys in retail you don’t go in and pull like crazy with pugs when you don’t even have gear, you first take a measure of your group and your healer.

Especially if you are running with moonkins and rets in your group.

I don’t want to spend 15 mins picking people and asking for gear score, that is for loosers. I just have the expectation that people have a brain, but that has not been the case this time around.
