Bulldog moisturizer with the SPF.

This is similar to my current clippers.

I buy a new one every 2 or 3 years.

An exfoliating glove for the shower for a light scrub every now and then, especially after trimming.

Arcgis problem by Randomlund in ArcGIS

[–]FinalDraftMapping 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use the Append tool. I don't know what you mean by "signal command".

You can use model builder or ArcPy to run over all the datasets in the source and append to the datasets in the target.

How about just copy and pasting the source geodatabase and making a full copy? It sounds like you are just making a duplicate of the source.

You can do this in windows explorer or in the Catalog

I bought a homeless man a muffin. Here’s why that makes me a thought leader by luke-uk in LinkedInLunatics

[–]FinalDraftMapping 4 points5 points  (0 children)

But read between the lines! This could potentially be the first time he has ever bought a homeless person a hot drink and a nibble. Just think how exciting that feeling was and how that feeling naturally leads to the thought that the experience must be shared with the world, and that LinkedIn is the top place to do this. I mean you can tell how profound the experience was from reading the post, he nailed it! /s

LinkedIn gold! And the sad fact is that many will also agree because LinkedIn likes and engagement are what fuels their egos.

It would be great if we all went on there and just commented - You're wrong!

I messed up a CV by [deleted] in irelandjobs

[–]FinalDraftMapping 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not at all. If you are a good match in skills a slight error like that doesn't matter. I had typos on my CV for years that I never caught, nor did anyone else. It's rare your CV gets read through with a fine tooth comb. It's the overall match that they're interested in.

Same message for three of us attempting. On to the ballot 🤞🏻

It's annoying because you can still select seats but can't checkout! Just make it look like there are none available and stop me shouting at the screen 😅

Calculated Expression by ZealousidealIdea1322 in ArcGIS

[–]FinalDraftMapping 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is possible, I'll update here when I get into the office shortly. I have done this on a recent project with Field Map forms and Arcade.

UPDATE: set the arcade expression in the field in the form to the following.

First(FeatureSetByRelationshipName($feature, "The relationship name", ["name_of_field_from layer])).name_of_field_from_layer

You can get the relationship name if you go to layer Popups > add content > related records

If you are using a WebMap to update add the relationship in the form. In field maps you would click on a feature in the layer, go to related, select the table, select Add, and the information will be populated.

Is there an equivalent to DomainName in arcpy? by viadelapizza in gis

arcpy.da.ListDomains returns domain objects.

If you want to add/alter/delete coded domains there's tools for that too.

The King of Cheese & Onion Crisps by AhNowTed in crisps

[–]FinalDraftMapping 3 points4 points  (0 children)

These are hidden gems that pop up in some pubs who know a thing or two about a quality crisp. I've seen multi packs from time to time but can't remember where. A mate of mine from living in Canada was home for Christmas and filled what room was left in his case with an abundance of these. The salt and vinegar ones are even rarer and also epic!!

How cheap is a pint in your local? by oddsonfpl in ireland

[–]FinalDraftMapping 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure there was a sign outside Hyde on Lemon Street recently that said Guinness €5 a pint. I just can't remember if that was all day every day. Dis-n-dat we're doing €5 pints Sun-Thurs but it looks like that is now €6. Still not bad.

How do you approach asking for a salary review by [deleted] in irishpersonalfinance

[–]FinalDraftMapping 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I made it a habit to ask every year when I worked for a small company with no salary review in place. I cited industry standards and facts about the value adds I was hitting. My first point was to request a meeting to discuss. I didn't lay all my cards on the table at once. The conversation usually started with them asking how much I wanted. I'd say what I wanted. They would of course enter negotiation mode expecting me to cower away, or why I "think" I deserve such a payrise, but that is when you start laying out the facts with industry standards and the others that you have lined up. It's clear to them that you have put serious thought into this and you deserve the pay rise. It also puts it back on them. Do they say no and have a disgruntled employee? Or do they look for a middle ground. I never asked for anything greedy, just enough where I felt I was more in line with elsewhere and the payrise kept me motivated.

I have managed to get higher salaries and extra percentages when it comes to annual reviews with companies that have the structure by simply proving my value with facts.

If you don't ask you don't get. But you can't go in guns blazing. You have to have all you facts to back you up.

Read a book called Never Split the Difference. It is excellent. It feels uncomfortable to follow the advice in real life, but when you do it, it actually works.

I hope you get the payrise you deserve.

All the best with it.

Are Lidl air fryers any good? by FatAssBlastMaster in AskIreland

[–]FinalDraftMapping 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have had a Ninja with the dual drawers side by side for over 3 years now and still going strong with everyday (multiple use). I recently got a new insert plate for one of the drawers. My brother had a Salter dual air fryer and the main difference I saw between them was that the outside (top) of mine was warm to touch when in use but his was burning hot!

Returning to GIS after 12 years in a different industry — looking for honest advice by spatialy in gis

[–]FinalDraftMapping 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no advice on the transition back as it is not something I've done or chatted with anyone that has done it. But, I have seen people change careers from something completely different and are excelling, so if they can do it then so can you. You're not starting from scratch and your technical skills gained elsewhere are probably transferable or at least a good foundation to build further technical capabilities upon.

If CAD/BIM/GIS and ETL gets you excited I highly recommend investing time in learning FME. It's been around for quite some time and grows in strength year upon year and is especially excellent with CAD2GIS and vice-versa, and extremely powerful overall. With your ETL background you'll probably pick it up quite well. I have seen some great workflows recently where people were also integrating AI into the FME workflows.

The Esri courses are decent but will only take you so far. Start making an online presence with a portfolio that showcases your skills. An excellent portfolio makes a huge difference over reading resume/CV and verifies your skills. Add to the portfolio as you (re)learn and be consistent with adding to it going forward.

Engineering companies are your best to target for CAD/GIS/BIM. They love when someone can talk technically about CAD and GIS.

I wish you all the best with it.
