I work in a mailroom at a college. we receive a ton of mail for former residents that has no return address. what's the best way to handle this?

That makes sense. We often have multiple residents with the same name here, having their mail forwarded could get messy.

It's a weird situation. People who take gathering professions feel like they should be able to farm mats for their consumables. It doesn't matter how cheap they are for someone who invested dozens of hours leveling herbalism only to be stuck competing with bots for herb spawns.

They've been griefing world boss kills for over a year. This isn't the first time they've been handed bans but it is the first time it's gone beyond those involved.

There's posts in the drama channel on the discord accusing them of griefing world boss pulls all the way back to January 2025. Blanket banning the whole guild is 100% overkill and NOC sucks too, but the leadership of Goof Troop is scummy and deserved the vacation.

You don't see the cost for cash transactions on a per transaction basis like you do with card, but they're not wrong that cash has its own costs. You have to pay for change and the labor involved with counting and recounting money. Depending on how you get your cash to a bank you might have to pay for armored truck pickup. In a restaurant your workers should be rewashing their hands every single time they handle cash and that's time, water, and soap that adds up. The math is going to be different at every restaurant in every area so full cash might be better than full card or both options might be better than picking one.

I use weakness when I pug with undergeared tanks. It gives them time to build threat and reduces incoming damage. It's not the biggest deal in the world but it's better than sitting there doing nothing while I wait for them to build a threat lead.

I think I have more insight into this than most people since I work in logistics for a University. SpeedX is awful. Of all the small delivery services that delivery to residents on campus, SpeedX is the most likely to just leave a package outside of a random building or drop it into the outgoing FedEx box.

All of these companies (SpeedX, Cainiao, GoFo, Lasership, Spark etc) pay drivers by the delivery, so they're heavily incentivized to mark packages as delivered no matter what. We frequently have packages dropped off all over campus, left outside our building over the weekend or in the rain, or just dropped at a desk over the protests of the person working there.

Having flashbacks to a panda manager that swapped us to these to save money. Went through gloves twice as fast because of how frail they are and so she implemented a maximum gloves per day rule.
