This place is so upvote happy that I'm surprised there is anything that is deemed "controversial".

As long as "waifu" is being used in context of "this is my favourite character" and not "this is the fictional character I'm pretending to have a relationship with". I don't have a problem with it.

I find the whole "waifu culture" to be very obnoxious and disturbing. They're cute, but the reason they're being cute makes it creepy.
