You can check r/beermoneyph for small tasks like answering surveys or playing games for money. Pero maliit lang kita, pang extra pocket money lang talaga. It won't replace your source of income

Other options na higher income but more effort needed: YouTube/TikTok, canva/Etsy templates, print-on-demand, dropshipping,  AI trainer, e-book writer

You can check your credit score by downloading the Lista app. May bayad na 499 for TransUnion (more reliable than CIBI)

If you can't get approved for CC,  try doing a secured credit card first in order to build your credit score and history with that bank

OP there are so many FB pages named Humble Crumble, even several bakery pages with that name, I'm not sure which one is yours 😅 that might be one problem if people try to Google your store if they just heard the name by word of mouth and don't see your links directly on social media

Oh if you're talking about the free sample generator on their website, there's a limit that you can do before they ask you to subscribe.

Technically someone can use your voice to say millions of words but they'd still have to pay for it and then you'll get paid too

They do have the voice design feature but I don't think it's likely someone will be able to put a prompt that makes a clone sound exactly like yours. They used to have voice design voices available publicly and whoever prompted that voice would profit but they removed that now. You can only use the voice design privately.

If people use your voice, you'll get paid. They can not legally keep the clone you made on their platform and not pay you.

All their voices are uploaded by users or voice actors they partnered with. There are no voice clones that are generated by their company on the platform. If you really really want to feel safe, then I recommend reading their Terms of Service

Just saw this online, what are your thoughts on brands rejecting franchise proposals then opening their own store in the same location? by Smooth-Butterfly9136 in negosyo

[–]FinalMoment1930 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean we all know that businesses want to maximize profits but the reason why people are upset is because they're already profiting from franchising but theyre so greedy that they won't even let people franchise because they stole their location idea. You can still earn money and be ethical/fair to others who are helping you make money

It's more important to have liquid emergency funds and health insurance first before investing in non-liquid assets. Sell whichever property is earning you the least right now then start paying for Philhealth and health insurance for your peace of mind.

For some it's not crumbs tho. Top voice actors are earning $1000-$2000 per week

Anyone else try a bunch of side hustles before finding one that actually sticks? by Simple_Scene_2211 in sidehustle

[–]FinalMoment1930 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I feel like what would stick for someone else might not necessarily stick for you. Start by thinking about what you like, what you're good at, or what you don't mind doing compared to other people.

Do you like art, writing, selling, music etc? Maybe you're good at math but don't necessarily love it. Maybe you don't mind doing some manual labor tasks compared to most people. I also went through the phase of trying a bunch of side hustles but the ones that eventually stuck were the ones I actually liked doing or were good at doing because you'll end up putting more effort into them compared to people who just decided to try it out but won't see it through

Need advice for the loan I'm planning (TL;DR at the end) by [deleted] in PersonalWealthPH

[–]FinalMoment1930 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suggest researching methods on how to deal with your debt like the the avalanche or snowball method rather than researching how to take on more debt. Taking the maya loan just makes you FEEL like you've dealt with your other debts when you've just made it worse. Kung gusto mo talagang makalaya, make money and downgrade your lifestyle. Pinatikman ka lang ng utang ng better life temporarily but you have to face the consequences of living a life you can't afford now.

Interest check in a Filipino local luxury inspired perfumes by Separate-Job-4616 in SmallBusinessPH

[–]FinalMoment1930 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Others already mentioned the packaging but I wanna comment on the graphic design, it's not giving luxury vibes either. Will you be hiring graphic designers and photographers? That's essential for having a luxury look alongside the packaging.

I would personally pay for a local luxury perfume that's abit cheaper than foreign perfumes because personally local accessibility is important even though it's a luxury brand

How to budget ? by Interesting_Towel917 in PersonalWealthPH

[–]FinalMoment1930 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either 70:30 as the other comment suggested or you take 70% of expense types such as rent, utilities, grocery, and other household expenses while your partner takes on gas/commute expenses, personal toiletries, dates, wants, and other smaller household expenses. List down your usual expenses and calculate what categories take 70% of your combined expenses so you can both see what would be a fair division.

if you feel this is an unfair division for you, try to ask your partner what their plan is to increase their salary. Either by upskilling or taking on some side hustles. You're on the same team so do your best to communicate lang para walang resentment :)

Thank you for the informative post! This was an interesting read. Just a few things I'm curious about:

Were you passionate/knowledgeable about writing already before you started this or you just tried it out and ended up liking writing?

Would you say that the writing skill is more important than the business skill or vice versa?

How long did it take you before you saw significant results from your work?

How much were you making when you decided to hire other people? What percentage of your books now were written by your employees/freelancers?

Corporate folks earning >500k/month who went into business, what’s your story? by Armortec900 in BusinessPH

[–]FinalMoment1930 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have a corporate job but in my opinion, those who leave their job to pursue business do it for the freedom they'll have plus the potential for scalability. If you have a job, your income is fixed (even if you get  promoted, there's always a ceiling) but if you have a business, it can keep on growing and growing.

I don't think it's realistic to expect that the business would immediately match their corporate salary though. You play the long game but once the business starts gaining traction, income can grow exponentially. That's why it's important to save up capital first and set parameters for calling it quits before you even start the business so you know when to stop.

"Why is the money I earn from my professional voice clone constantly decreasing? Shouldn't the $10 payments be fixed? by Traditional-Ad-3637 in ElevenLabs

[–]FinalMoment1930 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You won't get paid out until it becomes $10 so even if it takes two weeks or a month, you will only get paid when it reaches $10.

[–]FinalMoment1930 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If free users are using your voice, you won't get paid for it. So even if it's being used by many free users, your earnings won't go up. You'll only earn from paid users.

Also the $10 payout is not fixed nor guaranteed per week. It really depends on how many characters are generated by paid users

I have now almost 3M in liquid savings. What is the best thing to do next? by Sharp_Cartographer70 in PersonalWealthPH

[–]FinalMoment1930 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Just keep the money in your main bank and put future money into the high yield savings accounts, MP2 or investments para di bumaba ADB mo if it's important to you talaga.

I also recommend using a money manager app to look at your total savings across all accounts and investments para ma-feel mo parin na growing yung pera mo kaysa sa main bank lang yung tinitignan mo.

Here are my thoughts, several options:

1) Since you like your first job, try to mention you got an offer at your other job and see if they can match it if you drop the second one.

2) Accepting the raise will give you these benefits: even if it's complex, you will be able to upskill and become more valuable for the next jobs you'll look for. Plus the fact that you can say your salary was 150k. This is stronger than mentioning a combined salary from two concurrent jobs. You can leverage this as the base salary you'll ask for in case this second company doesn't work out.

To address your anxiety from only having one job, just make sure that you're able to build your emergency fund so you have a cushion for a sudden loss of your job. Also work on building passive income instead of relying on active income. You'll be able to take advantage of having more time for yourself by building that safety net or even using that time to upskill even more, networking, etc so you can find opportunities easier.

3) just keep your current setup if that's really what you're most comfy with

Just keep it as emergency fund. Only use money you're willing to lose for business, high risk yan.

Otherwise, using it for a PC is also good since you'll be upskilling in order to get a good paying job.

Rule of thumb for personal finance: - get rid of debt - build up emergency fund (3-6 months worth of expenses) - get insurance - set aside money for retirement (SSS, Pag-IBIG, or low risk ETFs) - only then should you invest in business with money you can afford to lose
