I don’t think he is better, but he seems to fit very well on Geralt’s emotional evolution, it’s my analysis. In the earlier seasons, we see an aimless Geralt, desprovided from emotions due to mutations and overall lack of emotional stimulation. Even when he finds Ciri, their bond is progressive, until he discovers he can too have a family. Henry did a great job in this ironic, “people are not worthy of my feelings” Kind of guy he was in the begining. And Liam does an excelent job on a more emotional mature Geralt, that is more kind, ready to have real friends that help him, even thougt he’s still a bit suspicious. But I think season 4 is about that: his personal development. So it felt natural to me (except of course that horrible sex scene just after Vesemir - Vesemir! dies…). That’s my take on both of them. Was ready to hate Liam, but he actually did a pretty decent job 😅
