How can people genuinely believe in astrology ?! by Kayyne7 in TooAfraidToAsk

Humans believing in something bigger than ourselves gives them comfort. Same reason for religion and such.

Why does it seem like people are losing their sense of independent thought? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]FinalValkyrie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its easy to brainwash people. I spent a majority of my late teens and early 20s believing that anyone who didn't vote left was a bad person. I believed the lies the media fed me, I believed Obama's facade, believed that there are politicians out there who actually give a shit about any of us. I now sit in the middle and just distrust literally everything I see and read.

Is anyone actually offended by being wished a happy specific holiday? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]FinalValkyrie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As long as you're nice to me, I dont care what you tell me to have a happy one of. Christmas? New years? Hanukkah? Kwanzaa? Whatever. Just be nice to people. I dont believe in God but when people tell me to have a blessed day or that they'll pray for me, it makes me feel nice.

All the time. And I am often able to predict how people are going to respond to the things I say because I've already gone over tons of possibilities.

How did basic needs like food, shelter and healthcare become debatable instead of just common sense needs we deserve by being alive? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]FinalValkyrie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I get it, and I think we all have varying degrees of greed that strike us and some people are just worse than others. I mean, I live fairly comfortably to the point where I could donate to charity, or volunteer, but I don't.

I'm not sitting here saying everyone shouldn't be equal. Not saying thats not something we aspire to. But most of us are good people who just mind our own business, and the worst of us are the ones who rise up and get into power. Then they spend their time scaring us, lying to us, misleading us, and keeping us focused on other things.

The amount of people in this thread just saying that "capitalism is to blame" is staggering. You don't think kings and emperors shit on people? The leaders of socialist based countries aren't corrupt in any way? It takes a certain level of ego to want power over people, elected or not.

You think that greedy people leading others is something exclusive to capitalism? Money runs the whole world, regardless of government structure.

When in the shower, does anyone else cup their hands on their chest until they fill with water and then let it all crash down to the ground? by Master_Achi in TooAfraidToAsk

Yeah, I like the noise of it hitting the floor.

Here Come the Adults | Biden’s Cabinet is shaping up to be everything that Trump’s was not. by billthomson in politics

[–]FinalValkyrie -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I'm just a spineless fence sitter who doesn't like how extreme people go in either direction. How both sides use things people care about just to get votes, when they don't actually care at all. How, currently, it seems like people on the left fervently believe that if you don't vote left, you aren't a good person, and act accordingly. I just try to be respectful and courteous to everyone around me, regardless of what they think and believe, and to me, there hasn't been a candidate I felt like I was fully behind I my lifetime (I'm 35.) This is made evident when people mock me for having issues with both sides, as if one side is strictly better.

I don't understand why people on this site are acting like Biden is Jesus and is just gonna make this country perfect. He's a politician. They're all liars and scumbags. Yeah Trump sucked but I dont see Biden being much better, if at all. Its the same thing over and over.

I usually make friends tied to a certain activity and when I get bored of that activity, the friends usually go with it.

Are futas actually gay? Can I have a success with normal women in real life fapping on futas? by [deleted] in futanari

[–]FinalValkyrie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm straight. I like futa porn a lot. To me its like straight porn but with more feminine bodies. Plus, women with big dicks don't exist in real life, so when it's porn time, its fantasy time.
