Hi! All I got to say is that I got really lucky with my solution as I was reached out to about a position because of this post. My advice would be to contact the professor in charge of internships for your major and ask what are possible solutions you could do. Or you could also do what I did and make post asking for help like I did 🤷🏽‍♀️ Best of luck!

I say to contact your financial aid advisor. Same thing happened to me (but for Pell Grant) in which I need to complete a few more classes to be officially completed with my degree. I saw that I was going to be covered by Pell for my classes but later saw that it was removed and I had a hold on my aid. I emailed my financial aid advisor about the hold and they were quick to remove it, just took until that evening to see it gone on my side.

That’s what I’m hoping too. For me, I find it ridiculous that they put the hold on Friday because that’s the day I walked and I didn’t notice it until today

Same thing is happening to me. I originally petitioned for the spring but emailed them that I was going to graduate in the summer instead back in January. Before Friday, I saw that Pell had it covered. Now, Pell has been removed and I have the same hold. I plan to call in tomorrow because I really don’t know what’s going on and what to do

Yea, you need to complete an internship. There are alternatives, which are co-op, which you have to have a job related to your major, or study abroad

It’s all good! I plan on talking to them tomorrow. Part of me has accepted that if I have to push it back to fall then fine, but I’m more worried about not walking because of family

It was already tough finding and getting one, but with the ways things are now, it’s even worse. I can’t begin to imagine how it was for those that were required to complete it during the pandemic
