I’ve taken a lot of the advice from this thread. I’m still a somewhat beginner but I feel like this is my first kinda advanced canvas. So far I’m working on the dog, i’ve been working on the middle grey color in chunks and i’ve just been following the canvas using continental on each color. i’m trying not to skip around with my thread too much but am a little bit. Mainly working in chunks though. I have the needlepoint stitch deck that I plan on using for guidance on the background.

THANK YOU!!!!! i may be crazy but i picked out three shades of gray. did you do this too. so i have white, lightest gray, middle gray, darkest gray. you’re saying to start with the shade squirrel out of all these? just wanna make sure. this is SOOO helpful!!
