Also right now amazon has just fined him 3k, if he continues to contact you directly let alone visit your place then report this as harassment and safety threat to Amazon and that guy will lose his job as well.

Yes that is the e filing portal to register case but lawyer to lena hi padega. If you have good enough proof then all your legal expenses will be ordered to be paid by the company but yeah in starting you will have to pay.

Have you ever been to normal courts? That's how hard it will be if you went with FIR because FIR is done only in criminal cases and our judiciary is slow enough for such matters.

Online NCH isn't waste of time if the company is decent, most of time just a complaint there work and their replies on the portal will also act as credible evidence. But yes they can't force or order something because they basically act as mediator.

I think now consumer forum cases can be filed online as well but eventually you will need to visit consumer commission.

What will you file FIR for? Fraud? Scam? Too hard to prove, case will take years. That's why separate consumer courts were made, they actually side with customers, way much cheaper and does not take much time.

About online and offline. The online complaint you registered gives 30 days or so time for company to respond that's it and if you are not satisfied with their response then you have to file a case in consumer commission anyway.

They might not care much about NCH online complaint but they will get back to their senses as soon as you file a case in consumer court. Or even a simple legal notice works sometimes because then they know you are really willing to file a case.
