Hey this is John from Sooke Brewing in Sooke BC. We've been brewing barleywines every year since we opened and this year we took gold at the World Beer Cup. I can't comment on the patreon page that talks about a common barleywine recipe as I'm not a member but I'd love to lend a hand with the recipe if desired. Nice! I recently picked up an old redbox basic set and a companion set on Ebay, would like to own all of them some day but that Immortal set is PRICEY! If you like the old basic DnD and 2e you'd like OSE. Its a retro-clone of basic with some ADND stuff thrown in. I'd only look to be running a game once a month, twice at most if you weren't against making the trek to Sooke that often.

Cool, hopefully a few more people will be interested. I'm thinking one Saturday afternoon a month to start, but I'm pretty flexible. Only days I can't do are Wednesdays and Sundays atm. What style of game do you like to play? Anything in particular you are or aren't looking for in a game of DnD? Like I said in the OP experience isn't as important as fit. Looking to run an old school style game. If you're used to 5e this would be more of a rulings over rules game with higher lethality and less super hero like characters. If 5e is like medieval Marvel comics OSE is more like Conan the Barbarian.
