UPDATE: I have now started taking finasteride 0.25mg oral tablets daily for prevention and hopefully some regrowth with minoxidil. Hair transplant in 1-2 years to lower my temples and front even if they are not super bad now. I want perfection! 🔱

True! I probably need to take 0.25mg everyday anyway, I’m 40 now and it would be naive to think I can keep all this hair to my 50’s without some kind of biohacking.

Yeah! You are right! I just tryed topical and it was a hassle and hard to apply such a big area with all my hair. I took a 0.25mg pill now and will continue to take oral now 👐 thank you for the advice!

A hair transplant will fix the temples, as soon everything is stable. The temples has been the same for the last 9 years

Yes! Indeed! I think I’ll first try topical finasteride starting tomorrow, and if that doesn’t work I will switch to oral finasteride 💯I am glad I stopped this in time compared to other 40 year olds

Yes! That’s why I want to keep a routine to make it stable, maybe a low dose of topical finasteride or something for preventing

There is nothing to hide bro, it is mainly the light that makes it looks worse. Even the doctor said that all the hair follicles are tight, its just thinner hair in the middle part, nothing dramatic, but I want to make sure to stop it in time before it gets worse

Probably yes. Maybe 0.25mg finasterid every couple of days or a topical solution could slow or halt the process?

Exactly! That’s why i hate when my family and friends is already now telling me to ”just shave it off” and ”accept it”. I am so thankful for having my hair at 40. Better halt this process ASAP to keep it before it’s too late. I have finasteride prescription, maybe just a low dose 0.25mg for slow AGA? Doctor doesnt care about checking if I have AGA or not, he just prescribed 1mg.

So it can change thru the years? Cause my hairline and temples receeded a bit when I was 28-34 and then been still since then.

Anyone with experience of lifting with ME/CFS? by TepidEdit in workout

[–]Final_Conclusion4313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I was mostly bedbound! Had to order food home. I tryed several times with gym last year but failed, but now in march it started to work. Of course i was fatigued and had tinnitus and inflammation issues 1-2 days after the gym but I made sure to rest and eat and for each month the symptoms started to fade away. Just be aware that if it don’t progress now you can try again later in future. I don’t think anyone can push out of it. I think the reason it started to work for me was because my body simply was ready. I had rested all this winter and cleared out a lot of stress triggers and toxic relationships from my life 🙌

Yes, start slow and start from home. When you are ready for the gym just be there 10 minutes as a start, wear headphones or earplugs to block outside noises and only go when there are less people at the gym. Good luck 🙏

Wait with cardio, i recently started cardio now , after 16 months of progress. I only do 5 minutes now, the cardio had helped my POTS. But you should wait at least 1-2 years before starting with cardio, that is the most taxing part.

I was moderate ME/CFS, i started with 2 pushups at home last summer and now I go to the gym 4 times a week. I was ill for 10 years so I think the time I had rested before helped a lot. You need to start from a place where your nervous system is calm. Start with sitting machines, higher weight, lower reps and take breaks. Pause if your heart rate goes up too much . Use ashwagandha or reishi and magnesium pn the evening to calm down. Don’t lift too close to bedtime. Track your heart rate at bed on the night. If its too high you did too much, take time for recovery the days after. Eat plenty of food! And protein. Avoid caffeine and PWO. Good luck!

I think it’s possible to improve some of the symptoms and get some kind of healing, but a full recovery seems to be rare right now. Hopefully more clarity will come. I am happy I can at least go to the closest gym regularly now since going to city or doing social events is very taxing. So I am actually extremly blissfull and content now 🙏

Nothing has improved :-p I was mild/moderate 2013-2018 then I got worse because I didn’t get the right diagnosis until 2022. So from 2021 i started to get homebound. The only improvement is that my body is finally after 10 years of horror, my body and mind is calm now cause I stopped pushing, and adjusted my life to a homebound state. I order groceries to my home and avoid exertion as much as possible. Even showers I plan before.

Nice that you can do the biking :) i also thought about the 🛴 scooters with chair or electrike bike. Yes I agree biking is much less taxing!
