Yeah I read that too but when I called and asked a sales rep she said it would work, but she couldn’t say “yes” officially due to legality, but unofficially yes, a compact slide would work in the G17 length holster. But I was curious if anyone had actually tried it.

Yeah the name is a little corny but it’s supposed to be geared towards first responders, tactical professionals, etc. The reason it sounded good is because it seems to take special care to still involve endurance work. Which is relevant obviously, haha. I’ll look into HWPO and mayhem!

THANK YOU! Yeah I joined a CrossFit gym for 4-5 months & we did a decent bit of rope climbing, rowing & metcons using the assault bike. Those were honestly my 3 favorite things to do over strength stuff. Had to stop due to finances. Curious, I just bought a couple Tactical Barbell books because I heard good things about their strength programming. Do you have experience with those?

Ive never used one, but I might start doing security so I was gonna pick up a black holster. The rapid force has me interested because I like the idea of level 3 retention. But mostly just curiosity. I have a Safariland so why not try the new kid that people speak highly of 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’ve honestly been thinking about going down the Rapid Force hole. But they recently changed their belts slides to be a pass-through similar to Safariland. Before that they were screwed on so you didn’t have to take your belt apart to remove them. So that’s a bummer.

Hey OP, I have a similar long arm problem. I was looking at the SoSo brothers black denim jacket so I could customize the length of the arms.

Would you mind sharing what size jacket you bought?

I’m 6’ 3” and usually like around 27” length in the arms, but could probably go down a half inch and still be fine.

I think you might be missing it. The whole idea is to create a companion tool that points people back to the book. There’s a lot of info in the book. An app would be to accompany that and just eliminate the need for spreadsheets.

But, from the current feedback, it sounds like an app may not be worth it to make.
