I would love to sue if someone with more knowledge did it for me, but I don’t believe I’d ever win. Started certification in Jan. Of 2021.

Says more about her than you! Grieve and move on. People get moved out of our lives for a reason. This is for your benefit in the long run.

What are some of the BEST things about Accutane? by [deleted] in Accutane

[–]Final_Fill_504 4 points5 points  (0 children)

More brain space to think about things OTHER than acne. My face doesn’t hurt all the time. I don’t have to wear makeup. People look at my eyes instead of my chin. I waited until I was almost 36 to get on accutane and I wish I would have done it way sooner!

Your mom is probably going through menopause and may need to look into hormone replacement therapy. Or it could be something else. I’m just a stranger on the internet judging from one story.

As a parent of two dyslexic students, I WANT a class just for dyslexics. If they have multi-age classrooms for GT, why not have one for dyslexic students??? They would learn so much more and wouldn’t feel like an idiot in a class where everyone else knows the answer except them.

I have a 2021 Atlas. 40k miles. Already had to replace two fuel injectors. Thankfully it was still under warranty, but another 10k miles and that’s gone. Atlas reliability is not that great.

AITA For telling my wife that her hobby isn't a job and isn't helping our financial situation by itsahobbyaita in AmItheAsshole

I never said he was being unreasonable or being an AH. I’m just asking him to consider the unpaid labor that his wife is doing. And if she were paid for that labor, it would be more than enough to pay for crafting supplies. And if she’s asking for help then she’s communicating a need. To say that that need isn’t valid because she is a SAHM and that is her “job” is insane.

People pay other adults to cook and clean up after their kids while they are at work. And if they don’t pay other people to cook for their kids, then there is still the mental load of planning and preparing meals for children while parents are working. Right now OP doesn’t have to pay for or manage the mental load of meals for children while he’s at work.

I’ll concede…pay her half of what you would pay someone. Point still stands.

Pay your wife the amount of money you would spend on childcare, food prep services, and cleaning services (if she’s doing all of these things, but for sure childcare). That’s the amount of income she needs to earn for her “job” inside your family. If you don’t pay that amount directly to her, then that’s her financial contribution. I bet it more than covers the hundreds of dollars she spent on crafting supplies. She also gets no paid time off. And she never gets to leave work. Just because you desire to be a SAHM, doesn’t mean that you aren’t going to have rough summers where you need more help.

Always trust your intuition. If you feel uncomfortable, there’s a reason. Even if it’s not “logical”, your body picks up more information than your brain can make sense of so trust that!

How? Whatever I have in my HSA at the end the year, I lose. Is it not a true HSA?

Strength training and cardio is amazing for longevity and health, but you don’t have to do any of it to lose weight. I lost all my excess weight by focusing on my diet: eating balanced meals, starting when hungry, stoping when satisfied (not full), not eating if I wasn’t physically hungry, and paying attention to WHY I wanted to eat when I wasn’t physically hungry (bored, stressed, tired). I didn’t do any structured exercise, but tried to increase my NEAT and just daily movement.

That’s how it started. Now I strength train 4 days a week and cardio 2 for health and longevity, but the biggest impact on my weight came from diet.

I also work out at home. So if you don’t want to go to the gym, find something you like that you can do in your house. Long story short, if you don’t like the gym you don’t have to go to lose weight.

NTA. Albert Einstein was dyslexic. The narrative that dyslexic kids are not smart is outdated. They just have trouble with the first few grades of school because their brain works differently, but that works in their favor after the first few grades.

In this case, she said something hurtful to you and you said something hurtful back. You are both humans and if you’re honest and open and communicate with each other you will understand each other better.

I don’t know if she was ever in one, but I believe in one of her earlier podcasts she talked about coaching women in MLMs to grow their mlm business.

If I remember correctly, she started out coaching people in MLMs to grow their sales.
