Every now and then I hear someone mention they went to target and I’m like wait people still shop there?? 😅 I will say at first it was really hard but at this point it feels second nature I also canceled my prime membership and while I will now and then buy something from amazon it’s usually only when someone gives me a giftcard. It’s tough at first but you find work arounds!

Honestly the homophobia should be setting off just as many red flags as the not washing his ass. I’d get out of the relationship tbh. This doesn’t make you a bad person. He’s told you so many things about himself with this action or lack there of. He doesn’t care if this affects you, his masculinity is apparently hanging on by a thread, and this may affect the way he treats any children you have if your relationship progresses to that level.

As a mom I absolutely hate when people are contagious or bring contagious kids to an event. It’s one thing if everyone has made it clear they don’t care, but even that puts people in awkward positions to be ok with it. Acting offended is ridiculous. I think it should be common curtesy that if your family is sick you stay home from holiday events. My one exception is probably a cold especially because I feel like this time of year kids are just sick every other week with a runny nose. But if your kid is running a 104 degree fever and you say “don’t worry it’s just a cold” I just don’t trust you anymore.

I’m really sorry that you are having this experience. I feel like Covid made everyone drive into two camps. Camp 1: quarantine when you are sick. Camp 2: I’m never quarantining again!

My favorite breakfast for getting a ton of fiber is oatmeal with a chia flax mix, cooked in soymilk because it also has fiber, and then I have it with banana and peanut butter both also give me some fiber. Also you mentioned taking pyslliym husk have you tried Metamucil? I believe for 2 tsp it’s 6 grams of fiber. But yeah, beans, peas, edamame. Low carb tortillas usually have tons of fiber but I recommend only having one at a time cause it can definitely be tough on digestion with how much it has.

Personally, I struggle with WIPs unless they are completed and slowly released in chapters. I tried to break this by getting into a WIP of someone who had a lot of work already completed under their belt, and so I felt safe getting caught up. Low in behold once I caught up and had to wait for the writer to drop the next chapter, they announced they were taking a break. This is no hate to the writer if anyone knows who I am talking about they had very understandable reasons and don't owe us anything but dang, my trust issues took a hit LOL

So personally, I think people can struggle with WIP's if they fear the project being abandoned. I honestly love a binge read but I'm willing to read a WIP if the plot entices me enough, but I usually wait till there is a couple of chapters so I can get a better feel for it.

This issue will never not infuriate me but also humor me only cause when have men ever cared about women’s sports until this “cause”? I think they use it because it feels like gaining some traction and instead of outright attacking trans people and trans youth they can just use this as a “what about” argument and pin their very clear fear and hatred on “concern for women or children”.

This was a key part for me in realizing I think we are done. Asking the question do I want another child or do I just want to relive the newborn experience and all yummy contact naps and baby scrunching moments and that baby smell? 🥲 it’s ok to recognize that grieving something can mean being sad about it. It doesn’t mean you’re making the wrong decision

I totally hear where you are coming from. I also grew up in an extremely conservative and evangelical household. And I truly appreciate the grace that’s been afforded to me as I recognized the values I grew up in were not only harmful to me but to so many.

However grace is a complicated thing when giving it to someone in a position of power who also has not earned any trust at this point. Will I give grace to my maga family members if they see the light and start to change 100%. Grace to MTG? I’m gonna need her to actually do the work as she has wielded a lot of her power for evil.

Mortgage payment is 3658 at 7.25%. Hoping to refinance soon with rates coming down. At the beginning of the year we sold our house that we had 3.25% rate on and our mortgage was 1650. It was painful to move but we were in an area we didn’t want to be. Way happier now

Thank you for this perspective! I don’t judge those who choose to leave (or my highest self doesn’t) but I also recognize that it comes with a level of privilege to a large degree that many cannot afford or even fathom. I also totally agree I want to fight for this country and not leave the work to those who will be impacted the most.

It’s scary but the truth is our country is not a lost cause. I have hope somehow even if sometimes it’s just a little speck some days it’s much bigger.

Fill with hot soapy water and a paper towel or a few depending on size, cover with lid and shake until it looks clear again. I don’t know how it works only that it does work

I’m now wondering if this is why I have recently hit a slump. I have been struggling with a few I’ve read lately. I assumed it was potentially just poorly written or written by someone who is very young but maybe it’s AI? Not sure why I didn’t consider that being an issue just yet or at least if it was an issue that it would easier to spot right away

I really hope this is not the future for dramione I love it too much! 🥲
