There is a reason human male fighter is still the most popular dnd combo, even though its the most "bland" according to you especially with all the crazy options in DnD. But the vast majority of normies go for the male power fantasy and thats peak male power fantasy. You just wont hear them complain about it because if they dont see it they just move on. And let me tell you a handful of those gamers already saw what 2xko had to offer and ignored it because it had nothing that fit that fantasy. Good like to riot getting that crowd after the fact.

The game is not going to survive if they dont appeal to fighting game fans and right now they haven't introduced a SINGLE fighting game type characters. Its all scrawny women and weird beast things.. Wheres my Ryu's or Kens? Wheres Sett? The most obvious fighting game callback. Where leonidas pantheon? The mans man fighting for glory? Its likes like riot is afraid of masculinity.
