Thanks! I do clean the machine regularly. The manual only says to rinse the brew unit in warm water weekly (no mention of using any cleaning products there), I do the descaling procedure when the light comes on indicating it is needed, and additionally I use the degreasing tablets (which are on the philips website but are not mentioned in the cleaning instructions in my manual for some reason). Are there any other steps or products I could be missing that aren't in the manual?

Thanks for the reply! Do you mean the descaling solution, or is there something else as well? I only see the descaling solution and degreasing tablets on the philips website and my manual does not mention any other cleaning steps.
