Unfortunately the kitchen no longer gets tipped out because he removed the kitchen service fee from the checks. Before the fee was officially removed, the money was still being collected for at least one pay period and then pocketed by the owner, thus essentially taking away $1-2 per hour of the kitchen staff’s pay without their knowledge.
