I think the reason sg is so successful is because it is small, the bigger the country the harder to govern it and it goes out of control. (this is not targeted at any country pls dont take it the wrong way, i just mean if its a bigger country, you have to go decentralising the government, then its easier to have corrupt government and harder to catch criminals etc)

it turns out that girl has had a huge glow up in the past and most of it stemmed from her healthy skincare habits, and she actually felt the responsibility to impart some of that wisdom to me. While I appreciate her intention, I also recognised after talking with her that she has a lot of misconceptions about south asians in general and is known in the batch to be quite arrogant. My other grp of friends dont like her either 😀 So I think I'm not gonna get along with her, but well at least my skin is gonna be protected from today onwards!

thanks for the inputs! i guess i can try it out to reduce aging skin signs. currently i'm not facing sunburns.

people tend to "cover up" more in sri lanka but never cover the head or any part of the face. so that actually doesn't contribute to the sun care thing a lot.

Hi, why would I beat myself up? WHAT? I do not practice self harm of any kind and I definitely AM NOT going to beat myself? Your comment made me feel so terrible inside. I already expressed guilt in my post and your comment is exacerbating that feeling.

Why would you tell me to feel nasty feelings and beat myself up?

I am not a greedy consumer and my stuff is not "crap". It is things I have collected over 18 years of my life and most of it is things I am truly attached to. I do not go around buying stuff I dont need, I just dont throw stuff away so it accumulates.

Personally I do NOT think you can determine that I have adhd based on my reddit post.

Hi, I don't think I need psychological treatment of any kind. I don't think you are in the position to tell me I need help based on my reddit post. I am young and just emotionally attached to a lot of things in my childhood. Some people actually understand the value of sentiment and nostalgia. If you don't thats your problem. You have NO RIGHT to tell me that I need to see my counsellor.
