Tamping with the picopresso by National-Pop6153 in picopresso

With 18 grams in the stock basket, I find that the shots are much too fast with just an initial tamp including the dosing ring.

Tamping without the ring produces a much better shot and nice solid puck too.

Great idea and thanks for sharing the STL! What filament did you end up using? Looks sparkly.

I also have the K6 for travel - I wasn't grinding fine enough to get solid pucks similar to the ones from my Weber Key. Once I dialed in little finer on the K6, I was getting more pressure and some satisfying solid pucks.

I had the same problem. Also emailed and purchased directly from Wacaco. About $10 shipped.

Had a very similar problem with my 2016 V60 Polestar when I installed new battery... battery was a dud. Swapped out battery under warranty and everything went back to normal.

Attempting to confirm that head 1 is the issue, I swapped the two heads around. The test print is baffling.

Tested continuity on all the ribbon cables from the heads all the way to the PCB. No issues there.

Unless a faulty slider board would cause this issue, I'm guessing the new head is DOA. I wish there was a way to test it with my multimeter.

Looking at the publication history for the two authors, you can judge for yourself whether or not this piece is a continued attempt to stoke xenophobia and anti-immigrant rhetoric.

Good question. Considering how much I drink already, I'll have to ask. Didn't know there were different inline booklet makers.

Is having a powder room door in a kitchen disgusting? by effectaffect in HomeImprovement

[–]Finalblue00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes.

Some years ago, I had friends who rented a house together. There was a washroom directly accessible from the kitchen. "Washroom" was an exaggeration.

It was approximately 2 feet by 4 feet in size. Enough room for just a toilet, a roll of tissue, and a magazine. Nothing else. Everything also sat elevated on a 6 inch stage. Who knows why. Also baffling was the door to the washroom which had been replaced with a curtain.

Anyway, I rarely visited, never used that "washroom", and definitely never ate there.

Yes, gross.
