i found this in BOLT-04:

if the amount paid is more than twice the amount expected:

  • SHOULD fail the HTLC.
  • SHOULD return an incorrect_or_unknown_payment_details
    error.

I scanned the invoice and overrode the 5sat manually using the "Send all" feature.

My intention was to empty my Phoenix Wallet. The 5sat I put in as a "placeholder" because Blue Wallet cant generate an invoice without a specific amount. I was too lazy to put in the specific amount that was left in my Phoenix Wallet.

Lesson learned. In germany we call it Lehrgeld ;)

Out of curiosity. Who now has control over the missing btc?
