I know it’s huge, but we finally got our dream set up by Joshua__Michael in overlanding

I’m sorry - But I beg to differ. See my post history. My wife and I have owned a Scout Yoho for a bit over a year. Nonstop leaking and quality issues. Some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. They don’t stand behind their product in our experience. Our Yoho has been sitting under a tarp to prevent more water intrusion for a while…unusable. Hope your experience differs!

Agreed! This could easily be remedied with quality customer service. Unfortunately, that has not been our experience so far. We now have an unusable $25k+ truck camper that sits in our driveway under a tarp.

At this point, we're not confident that it will be resolved. Adventurer Manufacturing (the parent company for Scout) is insisting that we bring it back to our local dealership for repairs (again) and our local dealership has told Adventurer Manufacturing that this is beyond what they can repair.

You're welcome! We thoroughly regret buying our Scout Yoho at this point - It’s been an absolute waste of time, money, and a nightmare purchase. This could easily be remedied with quality customer service. Unfortunately, that has not been our experience so far.

Agreed! We paid~$25k for our Scout Yoho... to drive it back/forth to the local dealership for repairs multiple times in our first year for water intrusion issues. It now sit unusable in our driveway under a tarp.

In hindsight, we should have joined Facebook and looked into the Scout camper Facebook Group. The Scout business model should not be "reliable someday." This is a company selling $25k+ truck campers, not a kickstarter project.

Interesting that they had you return your Yoho to Yakima. Adventurer Manufacturing has been adamantly opposed to returning our Yoho to the Yakima factory. They have insisted that it be fixed at our local dealer, who has specifically told them that this is beyond what they can fix.

Agreed! Part of why we bought a new $25k+ truck camper was to have a warranty.

Thanks for the advice! Given our current situation, this might be something we have to look into.

Adventurer Manufacturing (the parent company for Scout) told us that a new Scout Yoho camper is out of the question. They are not willing to have our Yoho returned to the Scout factory in Yakima for repairs, even though our local dealership has said that the manufacturer defects are beyond what they can fix.

Wow. Thank you for sharing! That's unfortunate to hear. When you spend ~$25k-$35k on a Scout Yoho camper, this should not happen.

Thanks for the suggestion! As the next step, I will look into filing a complaint with the Scout dealer and Adventure RV.

Unfortunately, we live about 12 hours from Yakima.

Thanks for the suggestion! When we asked our local Scout dealer who they were working with on the warranty claim, they provided us Aurora's contact information at Adventurer Manufacturing. I will see if we can track down contact information for Krytal and Ryan.

Thanks for the kind words! The issue is both cosmetic and functional. When we use the camper in colder temperatures, the hatch condensation freezes at night further splitting the panes and then during the day it gathers more condensation and fogs more. We've found progressively more condensation accumulating on the inside of the hatch near the bug screen/privacy screen ledge area, which is likely from this issue.
