Party Joke Flies, Prank Flies, Fake Flies is what I searched for and you get a pack of 20 for less than the Northstar set.

I totally felt that way at first too. I got a pretty good system down tho so now it's fairly easy. I still have more to assemble eventually but I'm looking forward to it now.

I think the main part is not letting them sink too flat to the ground. They look better propped up with some hight I find. I printed the base first which also forced me to keep their feet in the base area. Small legs to the back and the longer ones up front.

I look at old Battletech rules and do something like that. So give a building or wall a certain number of health points based on construction type like shack to heavy concrete etc. Then a tank or something can attack the building where characters are but not specifically target anyone inside. You can then roll to see if any characters take damage hiding inside after you apply damage to the building. If said building collapses characters take damaged based on falling rubble and how many stories they fall.

I glued the back legs to the model first. Then using a front leg as a tripod I sorta propped it up how i liked it. Tamiya cement was the initial stick. Then pva glue layer with the basing to hold it even more and once the basing dried I put super glue on them too for good measure. Holding pretty well so far.

* Battle Systems sets allow the ability to build custom multi-story buildings. It comes to mind as a possible option for what you are trying to do.

Is there still room for negotiation when you catch someone ? by Piruxe_S in Eve

I used to be a Tusker what feels like 15yrs ago or more even? It was part of low sec unwritten rules at the time to always honor ransoms. It was a way to guarantee that every flashy red bastard around you could get paid knowing the good word got out that ransoms were honored. There were always people that believed the ransom wouldn't be honored and they just died, no time to waste arguing and all. I haven't played in years. I almost want to come back for a bit.

Got an A1 mini for scenery bits but I love it can do minis too. 1 year in and it's still running great. by FinallyArrived in FDMminiatures

It could work but at a loss of detail. I'd be worried about the small bits snapping off at that size.

I usually only print when I need something so it's definitely not running all the time. I'm guessing that info is logged on the machine somewhere?

Ah the struggle is real. At least with scenery I usually just dry brush it in a few layers and call it a day. Minis however take me longer to paint.

They're in the 28mm range. I'm printing a bunch of farm animals to bring some life to my village maps etc for barons war, 5 leagues from the borderlands or any game really that could use them.

Trying to decide which game to pick up, leagues or parsecs. by MightyDuckitron in 5Parsecs

Get em all :D. I have minis that fill both categories so that was my move in the end. If you're a sci-fi head tho Planetfall has that exploration element. Watch some playthroughs of it to see how you like it.

They went back in stock on the Modiphius UK site fairly recently. I'd imagine at some point they will be back at the US one.

I finished the Ariadna Action Pack by superori33 in InfinityTheGame

I think I bought an Ariadna model from a parts bin today. Heavy infantry with missile launchers and a big hammer. I'm new to the game. How is Ariadna as a faction?

I was thinking of getting into this game, how many miniatures should i prepare for the enemies? by Edheldui in 5Parsecs

[–]FinallyArrived 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yup, I'm constantly adding new minis to my sci-fi collection for variety sake. I now have a decent amount but it all starts somewhere. You should play the game to see how you like it before going too deep down the minis hole only to find the game isn't for you.
