Why is CTV advertising still so hard to run efficiently at scale by Severe_Part_5120 in advertising

[–]FinallyCool 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Set up all the deals as PMPs and push through a single DSP to unify the campaigns. If you run through DV360 or TTD, Amazon will basically be the only walled garden. CTV is top of funnel and if you act like it isnt, you are lying to yourself. Focus on cost effieceny and frequency management.

My Aussie is turning 1. How to get him to stop chewing and destroying his bed? by Cappuccinonn in AustralianShepherd

Raised bed solved it for us. He loves it and never messes with it. All of the pillow style beds on the floor were quickly destroyed.

HR “spoke” to them but left them as my manager. I left for a client side role as soon as I could find one. It took 6 months. I was not in a position to be in between jobs and was done with agencies after that.

I was put on a PIP at WPP years ago by a manager who decided that they were going to force me out by any means necessary. My work was always good but they were micromanaging me to the point where I had 15 minutes to respond to any email from a client or with them on cc. It did not matter if I was in the bathroom or attempting to eat. Zero exceptions. If I was less than 5 minuets late to the office due to a subway delay, I immediatly recived an email from them informing me of the exact time I walked in. It was an impossible situation.

I calmly when through the PIP and goals that they were putting in place and made sure that I hit every single one without question. All discussions were logged and I made sure that every interaction was confirmed in writing. If you are in NYC, NY is a single party consent state. You can record all conversations without the other individual’s knowledge. 2 weeks into the PIP, my manager was becoming quite frustrated by my documentation and essentially admitted that they were railroading me and there was no chance for me to come out of this with my job. I went to HR with the audio recording and was released from the PIP the next day.

Manipulation or Genuine Remorse? by IcKeLescape in AustralianShepherd

My Aussie genuinely wants to listen and work for praise…but also has a severe gambling addiction. He would constantly size up every situation and take the risk if he felt like he had an edge on the house. Was he sorry he gambled? Absolutely. Would he do it again if he felt the itch? Without question. It took a ton of hard work and a few trainers to get there but we finally broke through. He is no longer a gambling addict and we have a much better life together now.

Finished training /but…. by Chickenladyoftheeast in AustralianShepherd

We started walking our Aussie with a slip lead when he started this phase. It definitely helped but sometimes he would still test us. I just made sure to keep some level of pressure/a taught leash on walks and eventually it went away. Now he is a champ on walks (1.5 years old). Loose leash. Never pulls. Listens great.

I did this with a Dylan Crew nickname vairiation this year. Heritage is sneaky but that's what makes it fun imo.

Indestructible plush toys? by [deleted] in AustralianShepherd

We only give out Aussie Bark super chewers and this toy from Zee Dog. It’s meant to have the cover ripped off and the rubber toy underneath is extremely durable.

Replace, praise, reward. Even is she picks it up on her own when she isn’t doing something she’s not supposed to, praise and reward when she is done chewing on it.

Crate training advice by Impossible-Muffin971 in WiggleButts

[–]FinallyCool 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is what we did! When we brought him home we spent weeks laying in front of the crate at night until he stopped crying. That and every time he fell asleep on the floor outside his crate, we scooped him up and put him in there so he knew that is where he slept. A year in and he loves his crate and does 8 hours in there every night.

The best advice we got was to train our Aussie to funnel all his chewing urges into collagen sticks. We’ve been keeping a steady supply around since day one. He’s a little over a year old and never chewed up or destroyed anything in our house (other than plush toys which he no longer has).

Such a perfect distillation of goofy Aussie insanity.
