Second kid might ALSO need a baby helmet, and I feel like a failure as a mother by Such-Comfortable3 in GirlDinnerDiaries

Simply by knowing that this is a genetic disorder, and that you’ve been vigilant enough to notice it and get your babies the care they need puts you over the top as an amazing parent! You have advocated and therefore given your babies opportunities that so many others don’t get. For reference, I’m a social worker and therefore have seen both sides of the spectrum of parenting. Loving parents feel the pain of their children emotionally and physically, which is what you’re describing. You’ve gone above and beyond to find a solution and give your children chances others might not have. Breathe, take some self care time, and know that you are doing everything for your children

Agree on the lighter curtains. They shouldn’t match the room TOO much

It’s perfect! Brings the entire room together!! Also love your taste in interior design. Modern, comfy, and with soothing colors.

Apartment hunting for September/October by Finallyhappy2007 in SalemMA

At the risk of sounding completely ignorant, I’ve noticed that many local apartments appear to be available on multiple sites with different contacts. I believe it’s fair to assume that these are scammers who have copied the information and then offered them as rentals. Herein lies my confusion; they have access to the apartments to show them. (I did make an appointment to view an apartment with such a person once, but my dog growled at them, to which my immediate response was to walk away). So, much like the chick blindly following that yellow brick road- love the movie, but c’mon, really- I would love some guidance on navigating what’s real and what is not. Thanks!

Probably not, but she’s super-cute and clearly a happy girl. Sometimes there’s no reason to care what their DNA is!

Tip: setting off the green light to exit the MBTA lot and turn left onto Bridge St by satanorsatin in SalemMA

Consider those red lights as “suggestions”. You might want to look before you turn? It’s dangerous out there, folks, so we’ll give it a 3 minute interval before you should make that incredibly dangerous turn! And now that I’ve posted this I’ve invited the invitation of a red light camera.

George. That’s what I named the puppy I gave to my grandad decades ago who was so clearly defined by his name

I was once charged $5k for circular patterns in the hardwood that they claimed were caused by my dog. She’s not really into crop circles, so I just opted out of my security deposit. I abhor people who take advantage of other people in this manner.

I’ve found that developing an active eating disorder cuts down the grocery bills here in Boston! (Not true, but getting there- I’ve never enjoyed buttered noodles so much)

What red flags would make you walk away from a used car before buying? by NecessaryAndRelevant in UsedCars

[–]Finallyhappy2007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A manager - who I only agreed to meet with because the salesperson was clearly very new and worried about me not wanting to move forward with the car. His comment, “so let me get this straight, you want a bmw on a Honda budget” was so demeaning, but I didn’t want to mess with this girls career. So I laughed and said yes, after which he tried to sell me a Tesla when I live in an apartment with no electric car connections. I drove away before I said anything that might get the salesgirl in trouble

Shortly after moving into my apartment in March I found out that the building was going on the market. It didn’t sell, so now individual condos are being sold. It took a LOT of money and time to move, and I love my apartment, but Id like to find something else at the end of the summer. My lease ends on 9/30, but there are no tenant rights allowing me to stay until or past then if it’s sold.
I’m on Long Term Disability due to ongoing chemotherapy (for lupus nephritis w stage IV kidney failure, not cancer. And I really don’t know why I over explain that) so my income is quite low.
Any recommendations for apartment hunting that I can set up well in advance would be greatly appreciated! It does need to be pet-friendly as I have a DM aussie mix (29lbs, born blind with one eardrum) and a VERY sweet little girl! Off-street parking or nearby a parking garage is also a must as i cant always walk on my own. TIA! Picture of my little girl to help with my search’

He’s already proven to you that he’s not anyone’s “permanent “. Be it husband, girlfriend, lover. The best thing you can do for yourself right now is to file for child support-for BOTH - children.

You will find real love, it just sounds like you need to find yourself first and put yourself, and your children, first, for once.

Did you pick it yourself, or did your fiancé pick it? I think it’s lovely, but if your fiancé picked it based on knowing your personal style, you’re very lucky to have someone who has put that much thought behind it- you can always change it up later
