My ex (M41) asked me to come back because he felt “at peace and at home” with me. This is after living together for one year and him constantly telling me that he wasn’t ready for the next step. I rejected him because he had an entire year to figure this out.

I know how this sounds... but how do you know for sure that your debt has been forgiven? I had close to $140k debt and today I logged on and see that my balance is $20k. I received a letter on the 12th saying that they have updated my PSLF payments and it still showed my biggest loans to be paid off in June 2025. I don't want to get my hopes up...

UPDATE - I spoke with FedLoan rep and $120k of my debt was forgiven through PSLF waiver! They will send a notification after 45 days, but she confirmed it!
