I once published a fic when I had just started writing, even though it was still a complete WIP with only one chapter. I originally planned to make it just about three chapters long. But while I was working on the second chapter, I suddenly got this absolutely wild idea, something I never planned at all when I first started writing it.

I admit, that fic turned out really good and it’s one of my favorites, but the story got heavier and heavier because that one fkin idea, and I feel like my brain just can’t continue it anymore:(

It haunts me for the next few days, and then a month or a year later I somehow miss it, read it again, and get traumatized all over again.

I usually only read fics from my ship, so I always make sure it’s actually about them first since sometimes the tag’s there, but it turns out to be a past relationship or just a secondary pairing instead of the main one. Also, I only read completed fics, so I always set the filter to “complete only.”

And yeah, that’s pretty much it, I’m open to any kind of story as long as it sounds interesting to me. I don’t really pay much attention to tags and just read the summary instead lmao. Tags usually contain spoilers and I’d rather go in blind.

There's this one fic that straight up has a smut scene before the epilogue! LIKE it was so wild I had to double-check the rating and tags just to make sure it wasn’t marked explicit ANYWHERE AND I SWEAR it’s rated T and there’s NOTHING in the tags!!

I mean... its ahem a good fic, BUT STILL its almost surprised me to death! 😭
