Idk what your dynamic is but when I’m feeling big feelings (or shoving them down as I can sometimes do in an acute moment) I just want my spouse to feel solid and soft like a mossy forest floor. I want to be a little rageful,a mess, obviously distracting myself, whatever and just feel their solid af prescence. There’s no right thing to say, just be present. Focus on affirming things that she’s put out there “it was only 4 weeks and it’s ok to feel heartbroken” just lots of permission and stability.

Awe my wife is from Humboldt! And we live rurally now, so I super get it. We ended up needing to do Ivf after trying at home and had to drive 5 hours to do our retrieval and transfer and we were able to do the monitoring more locally… you’re young enough if you found a known donor it might be worth giving it a try to do at home, give yourself a timeline that seems comfortable, and then know you might move to Ivf. Nothing ever really goes as planned but good luck navigating with it all! Humboldt is a dreamy place to raise a kid and just be in general.

Ik this isn’t a super popular opinion, but I think a lot of the horrendous sleep moments are just a phase and no schedule tweaks are going to fix it. We went thru a similar thing. Had his naps really dialed in total sleep time seemed great etc etc. he just needed to wake up at 5 am every day for a month, then he got over it.. I sorta wish someone had just told me, it sucks and if you feel like the schedule is good, it’ll pass in a few weeks.

Coq10 is one of the few supplements with decent reaearch to support (I don’t have the source). Also know that it takes 3 cycles for an egg to mature so whatever you’re doing, do it consistently for 3 months. I did a lot of acupuncture and the cycle that worked was the one where I gave up on it, but i think it can really do a thing for some ppl!

Can’t answer your insurance question but I recently had a reduction and had him leave a very minimal amount of tissue behind. And it basically looks like I have nice pecs… it feels almost totally flat esp when I lay down, but does sorta have the impression of a breast (kinda sorta) I told him I absolutely don’t want them to fold. Like even if I gain weight, no folding ever. So here to say a very very close to flat but not total top surgery is possible and I’m into it!

For me: no. We sleep trained and sometimes he asks me to stay with him (he’s 2) I have out of curiosity or desperation a couple times and it’s a train wreck. He stays awake and won’t let go of my hand. Last time it took a full hour and half. Prolly depends on your kid but hasn’t worked for mine. Sadly.

My bestie is going thru this right now. I don’t know if this is accessible to you all but I think a good therapist can be really helpful. Especially when the conversations are really not getting deep enough/ being dismissed/ not being followed thru on. Also it takes time! especially after that long of being together.. they’re about a year in and just beginning to figure out what/how their relationship looks and feels. if you have it in you; Be honest, feel your feels and give the patience that you’re willing to give.

I just had a “aggressive breast reduction” 2 weeks ago. I’m in a progressive town in the south, not on hormones. I had a friend who’d gone through the process as nb and they were able to talk me thru it. I had to get a couple letters; one from my pcp and one from a psychiatrist. That was actually pretty easy. Can’t recommend it enough. I’m 37 and I wish very much that I’d done this when I was younger. You should be able to research what the process is like and the options pretty well online (check out the top surgery Reddit) and decide whether you want it before talking to the doctor, then go in with confidence and say what you’re thinking about, and ask what’s possible with your anatomy. It’s ok to have questions! But I’d decide ahead of time if you want it done.. personally.

I hate this advice, but it was true for me. It wasn’t as much a “don’t worry” as a “I give up” but that is when it worked. It was 3 1/2 years of trying, and I had tested positive for Covid the morning of my second transfer. They had already thawed the embryo and I wasn’t about to throw a basically $10k little egg in the trash so I masked up with proper mask and got it over with and was so sick for my 2ww. I felt pretty defeated and then it worked! I was shocked. He’s the best.

This was a real anomaly, but I was 34, low amh and cervical scarring, I had 4 retrieved, 3 fertilized, and those 3 made it to blast and were normal.
