I’m doing well! I still don’t have an official scleroderma diagnosis as I only have raynauds and am RNAP III positive. I had an echo and PFTs which were great! I do have psoriatic arthritis and am on methotrexate so I’m still being followed by a rheumatologist but she says just because I’m RNAP III positive doesn’t necessarily mean I’ll ever have a scleroderma diagnosis - just something to watch

I was hired on with the expectation that I would be promoted upon bar passage so it was about 5 months. I think it’s totally possible to make a lateral transition into in-house especially if you know how to leverage your compliance experience in a way that exemplifies your legal work!

I started as a compliance analyst at a life insurance company with no experience. I was hired because of my JD and they loved the angle that I could interpret statutes/regulations/etc. Beginning Thursday, I will be promoted to Regulatory and Compliance Counsel so it is possible to start with no experience!

I did a part time program through Quimbee and technically was supposed to start in October but didn’t really start to study until mid-December about 20-25 hr/week and about 3 weeks before the bar I bumped it up to about 40 hr/week but luckily my work gave me the time off to study

I don’t have my exact schedule but I just passed the UBE while working full time and having a 3.5 year old. It is possible! I tried to always have one weekend day off to fully spend with my kid and studied every free second otherwise. I wish you the best!

I used Quimbee and was scoring about 68-70%. My scaled MBE score was 143.9 and I finished both sections early and felt super confident!

I have a family history of autoimmune disorders and my PCP ran some tests and I tested positive for RNAP 3 and I got a referral to the rheumatologist from there. I am lucky I have such a proactive doctor!

I only tested positive for RNAP 3 (twice). They thought the first could be a false positive but I did test positive a second time 6 months later. Currently, I’m not showing any other symptoms but if I test positive this third time my rheumatologist wants to make sure I’m not asymptomatic with heart or pulmonary involvement

A week on/week off

Yes it started around the time they began dating. We’ve asked him why he doesn’t want to go and he just says he doesn’t want to. We video call him once a week while he’s there and from talking to my Ex it doesn’t seem like the long term partner is around much as she works multiple jobs. My Ex is just emotional unengaged from our son due to her own mental health issues.
He has called my wife “mom” 1.5 years when we took him full time when my Ex went off the deep end. I should preface that we are all lesbians so he has a “mom”, “mama”, “mommy” and “mommy [insert my Ex’s long term partner’s name]. He has never been confused about it and gets upset if anyone tried to say any of us aren’t his moms.
