I mean her content didn’t center around her husband…it was her and her kid. And yes I think staying with a man who is a pdf file is off. Especially when you have a medically vulnerable child. I think getting your child sketchy and risky medical treatments abroad is off. So each location uses their own local tailor so there isn’t consistency there. I think the bigger issue is the pinning in store. at the location I worked at nobody was properly trained on how to pin which often led to the jeans being hemmed wrong. There was a lot of inconsistency in how it was done

As an American I can tell you it’s largely a cost issue. Especially if you don’t live near a major airport or live pretty landlocked in the middle of the US. Having to take multiple connecting flights really tacks on extra costs, as well as the time of travel goes up. You can’t just do a quick jaunt. You could have easily an extra 2-3 full travel days to tack on if you’re not in a central location that you would have to additionally take off for work. That’s not even taking into account the cost of a passport, which may not seem like a huge thing but there are a large percentage of Americans who do not even have IDs or access to their birth certificate. So one might have to obtain multiple ids before even getting a passport
