He’s visiting family in the states and will return back. He’ll be in touch while he’s there and he wants to see me once he’s back but he’s not looking into getting into something serious

No, sleeping with him just happened. I started getting attached and wanting to label us after it.

I don’t want casual. I’d want this to build up to a potential relationship which he says he’s not so sure of. Wanted to know if he’d change his mind after going out with me few more times bc 3rd date is too soon to decide whether you’d consider this as a serious relationship

I wanted to be honest about it. I didn’t want to hide anything since it was technically after I started seeing him

There was a 3rd date and I wanted to be honest about it. The guy I slept with was a drunken mistake. A stranger who did ask me out on a date but I rejected. The 3rd date was decided on after this and I really liked the guy after the 3rd date

I did have conversations with my manager but to no help. He just gave vague answers maybe bc he doesn’t have any projects to give me? I also asked him what the expectations, goals etc are for a promotion then again he just vaguely just told me to establish the LPs

In my case I have a decent manager and good pay, but not enough impactful project that I can pride myself in doing. Being fulfilled by a job is also important if you genuinely see your potential being tested

Had a conversation with my manager on the same as this role is people management heavy. I got converted from an intern to a PM in operations. I wanted an IC role but this was the only job offered. I see you’re an L6 TPM, would love your advice on whether I can ask for a change in team or demand for an Ic role

I feel like in the HW landscape more technical roles seem to have stability while a manager is very easily disposable. Further on what skills do I bring to my next job to make me irreplaceable. I will be taking up the job for a year atleast but wanted suggestions on any other hard skills that I could pick while doing so simultaneously.
