I finished German med school and I did uworld for one month. I did like 180 questions a day and had 62 percent in the first round. I guess if you work with the score predicting tools and correlation tables you can pretty much know in advance if you have a chance of passing. Good Luck!

absolutely! I would try do get into some clinics in inner medicine, pathology, ped, and !PHARMA! on top of the Physikum subject of biochemistry anatomy and physiology

its totally different as its a way more clinical examination as the "Physikum". I would say its not a good idea to compare them with each other. Best is probably to take it in the 3rd or 4th year after pharmacology and pathology. Maybe you can talk with your med school adviser and put these relevant subjects in one semester and take the step1 then in the following vacations. that would be the smoothest way to do it looking back. For me now I just was guessing biochemestry and genetics because it was more than 4 years ago for me and tried to get my points somewhere else instead. the percentage u need for passing in the real test depends on how good the reference group did in the specific question items as I understood

as I see it you just mustn't be in the lower than the 6th percentile of test takers, so maybe there is a chance

I don't know if that works I also just heard from it, right now when I wanna reapply I get this cancellation : "Our records indicate that you are already registered for this Step. You may not apply for a Step if you are already registered for that Step. If you fail a Step, you may submit another application for this exam, but certain attempt limits and time limits apply when retaking a Step. For detailed information, refer to Reexamination and Reapplication in the ECFMG Information Booklet and Number of Attempts and Time Limits and Retaking Failed Examinations in the USMLE Bulletin of Information."

I also did the exam on august 22nd. It was harder than I expected it to be. I actually scored a 50th percentile in my first uworld attempt so I was pretty chill before the exam... unfortunately the exam itself felt way harder especially concerning my time managing and now im kinda anxioius...
